Bob the Butler vs Nitrous, the long haired Husky
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hired Bob about a year ago. He typically seems up to the challenge, but on occasion, I think he gets tired of all of the long haired Husky hair that he has to clean up, so he finds his way under my couch to hide and take a rest. It has been a complete joy to work with Bob! He has taken a ton of work (dog hair) off my hands, which was really surprising to me! I was skeptical that he would be able to keep up with the demands of this time consuming task, but I have been very happy with his performance! He does an amazing job, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to others, especially those who have high maintenance pets, with lots of shedding and/or long hair! My only complaints...the post on the front wheel broke off when attempting to remove it to clean; being that I have a long haired dog, the hair wraps around the wheel brush and the silver wheel that the rubber piece goes over, requiring the use of needle nose pliers to grab the hair and remove it; and while not really a complaint, because it wasn't something he was supposed to be able to do, I really do wish that you could set a perimeter to stop him from hiding under my couch and getting stuck on my thick area rug. When the post broke, I emailed Customer Service to get a new front wheel and had it within a couple of days! They were helpful and very easy to work with! Good Customer Service in this day is very refreshing! I would absolutely recommend this company, as they very obviously care about their customers!

Bob Bob Bob
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bob does a great job on our carpet and hard floors, the suction is great! We have two shedding dogs, and Bob allows us a break for a few days from getting out the big pet hair vac. Bob can get stuck, as can any robot vac, on things like rug edges, bar stools, pet toys, etc. Two minor design issues prevent Bob from getting 5 stars from me. As the pictures show, the hinges that split the dust bin open are shallow plastic and do not hold up very well. One broke a few months after purchase. I contacted Bobsweep support and they had a replacement to me in just a few days. Amazing customer support via e-mail. (I don’t call anyone unless it’s the only option.) The second design issue FOR MY APPLICATION is a gap at the end of the main brush can get hair wrapped around it, causing jamming. I figured out I could remove the pin and easily remove the hair. Just a time inconvenience when Bob is doing it’s job and finding pet hair we miss. Love our Bob!

Worth it in my opinion
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this for a few days now and so far it’s amazing. A few little things here and there that are slightly annoying but not at all a deal breaker. Set up wasn’t very informative. Attaching everything was fine but I got stuck on getting it to connect to my wifi. This is because it won’t connect to a 5g network and only a 2.4g. It does say this but it’s easy to miss and as far as I saw, it only says this in one place and after it has failed to connect. But once I switched it’s network settings it connect with zero issue. I was really surprised at how quiet it is. You can definitely hear it but you can also carry a normal conversation without it being distracting. It also handles going from linoleum to carpet like a champ. I was a bit afraid since I live in an apartment that has a carpeted main area but linoleum kitchen that kinda share the same space. But bOb handled it without any issues (we call him Kirby because he gobbles everything up.) It cleans very well too. It doesn’t do to well with larger items like candy wrapper but it will either just spit it out and spin around a few times make spines then fall out. I will say I don’t have a very large space and it does just kinda clean and clean until it thinks it’s going to die before docking. This is a bit annoying because it will clean the same place multiple times over the course of about 90 minutes. But I have it set up on my google home system so google tells it to stop cleaning and dock after about 45 min and it does it. I’ve only had one issue where it stopped because it either got lost or though it got stuck when it wasn’t, but he kinda found his way into our laundry pile. You can either buy a “blocker” which is a device that connects to your wife and tells it no to go certain places, or in my case just put a box in our doorway while it cleans. You MUST keep cables off the floor, it WILL pick them up and it WILL get tangled. This was my fault cause I wanted to test it and purposely placed a phone cable in front of it. It wasn’t hard to un tangle, I just had to pull on the cable but it’s worth noting. Considering what it does I’m pretty impressed. Only 4 stars though because of the few little annoyances and having to schedule it docking in addition to cleaning. But other than that, this is a solid product!

This is Bob.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is Bob, this is the floor Bob sweep. Watch all your friends and family stare at Bob with envy. Bob will satify all your (cleaning) needs. Bob will tirelessly work to please you. Bob needs very little attention in return to stay strong and focused. Bob even plays well with the little furry ones. All joking aside, I own 2 BobSweep vacs and 2 ecovac deebots. I used to Love my deebots, but once i upgraded to WiFi 6 they became nearlt useless as they cannot pair with app anymore. Bob also had this issue, except the pet hair vision version has a camera, and the app allowes you to pair via QR code using the camera!!!! Freaking awesome fore thought ppl!! He sweeps amazingly, is no too loud. I love the lieel bugger. My pets love it too, they cats torment my vacuums tirelessly. But Bob is patient and does not eat them, just keeps working. I recommend Bob.

Great robot vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Bob for my upstairs rooms. I already have a bobsweep vacuum for my living room and gwtting this was an upgrade to my old one. I love how convenient this little gadget it, helps with getting the floor done - carpet and tiles. I love the feature that you can control this via phone, I can have the rooms vacuumed even before I get home. I love that when it vacuums it is not as loud. This is a must robot vacuum to have at home.

Still Needs Some Research and Development
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this product. I had been eyeing various models and finally decided on this one. We have a German Shepard so the pet hair can be something serious. This vacuum did an okay job of picking up hair and debris. The problem was the device being smart enough to go down the hallways, which is where the majority of the hair resides. The product has an interesting map feature that shows where the device has cleaned. It needs to take that a step further where certain boundaries can be identified and set a zone for the device to cover. I would recommend if you are in a small apartment where the layout if not complicated.

Paid $200
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid only $200 and It’s very ok for that much money. $899 definitely not worth it. Isn’t perfect but it’s good. 4 star just because of the app. The app is horrible.

Q: QuestionHaving some issues with our new BobSweep. It seems to run for a short while then shuts off. The dust bin is empty and it is charged. Now it is not charging! Something is up.
Asked by Nails.
- A:Answer Answering my own question. Turns out that the dust bin is only one of several parts that can get plugged or jammed with debris, or in this case dog hair. The roller bar, which comes out very easily for cleaning, is the primary culprit, with the dust filter assembly also due for frequent cleaning. The vacuum itself does work for about 2 hours on a charge, but cleaning is necessary, at least in our big house, several times during use. Runs well and does a fine job!

Q: QuestionDoes the Bobsweep PetHair Vision bump into walls? The description says it will move around objects, but I'm curious if the unit will still bump into walls. I purchased a Roomba some time back and it would bump and take the paint off our baseboards.
Asked by charligurl26.
- A:Answer It does bump up against some surfaces, but very lightly - not enough to do any damage.

- A:Answer First go to App Store and download the app, then add your robot and follow the instructions on the screen. It’s not hard at all. I was able to connect and been using it for about a month.
