Alp N Rock began with a mission to send girls in need to school and create lasting change through the gift of an education. After meeting the founder of Room to Read, Alp N Rock CEO Susanne Reich knew she wanted to contribute in a meaningful way - and she had a big goal in mind. With up to 10% of profits benefiting the Room to Read Girls Scholarship Program, Alp N Rock and its customers have sent over 1,000 girls to school.

Why it Matters
Empowering female leaders builds communities. When young girls in developing countries are educated, they are likely to stay in their community after graduating and provide value to the youth and families through education and caretaking. A healthy, educated community cultivates a stronger community and future.

World change starts with educated children. Every dollar that goes to the Room to Read foundation means more schools are built, more books are read, skilled teachers are hired, and the community as a whole becomes more involved and connected through education.
