I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Pros
1) The first thing I liked about the new Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator was that it is cordless. It definitely adds to the portability and less of cord hassles. I have used Philips epilator earlier and I always had a corded one, so this was a welcome change. The battery lasts quite a bit, I charged mine over a week back and it still has charge though I have used it. It has 2 speeds, of which I mostly used the higher one as I felt that was more effective and less painful. 

2) Also it is a wet and dry one so I don't have to worry about the skin being dry before epilating. However, I did find it easier to epilate on a dry skin. For people using an epilator for the first time, it might hurt a bit, but I was okay with it.

3) The epilator results are good, it does give smooth skin on the hands and legs. However the hair needs to be long enough for better results. I epilated some short hair and could feel hair stubs on my hand for a few days, which softened as the hair grew back.

4) The shaving head is good for underarms and bikini line, gives smooth results.


5) The size is portable and very easy to hold. It has 8 pieces and the pouch which is nice.


5) The exfoliator is good with soft bristles which do not hurt and do a good job of cleaning the skin.

6) The heads can be changed easily. It does give a buzzing sound which will be audible in a quiet place, so limited privacy while using it. 

Cons:
1) While the portability is good, the shaving/epilating head base is pretty small and covers a small area at a time. Hence it is time consuming to cover every part of the body.

2) I wish the pouch was atleast a couple of inches bigger on all sides, definitely does not fit all the parts comfortably.

3) The massager is hardly effective, does not do much.

4) The epilator worked fine in removing hair from the face but it left an itchy feeling for the whole day so I would rather not use it the next time on the face.

Overall a great product to have, saves salon time and money, is easy to carry, does not take a lot of space, and gives peace of mind in all situations.

The epilator works awesome. And the shaver too. It is pretty painful when using the epilator but i think its something you get used to. After all it is ripping alot of hairs out at once so.... would recommend

When I bought this epilator I was afraid I would not get used to the method but I couldn't be more happy with it. The results are incredible, it doesn't hurt as much as I imagined and it is easy to use, dry or wet, and has a lot of great accessories to take care of your skin during the treatment and depilation. I certainly recommend this product.

Very happy with my purchase

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion, with that said I absolutely love it! I`ve tried epilators years ago and they were painfully,I felt like I was being punished! The Satinelle Prestige by Phillips was excellent for so many reasons. First the wet/ dry capability was very convenient and saved me time! I was shaving or waxing and they are both time consuming and messy! Especially the wax. It would always end up stuck to something. The directions were very easy to understand and made it easy to just get started. I dred waxing my lip . I didn`t think this product would do the same thing. It did! It was easier, faster, and had a special attachment just for the face! It also has attachments to massage and exfoliate! All great! The one thing I felt was missing was a bag to store it all together. I don`t mind keeping the box but a bag can make it more discreet.

All things considered I found this product to be wonderful and even better than I thought possible. I will be getting my family members a Satinelle Prestige wet/dry epilator for the holidays this year!

I love it

I thought this epilator was a fantastic performer. Love that it is wet/dry, comes with a light, charger and bag to keep all the accessories in. I used this on my legs and armpits (of which hurt the most). This particular product comes with a massager and exfoliator, but I didn't find those attachments that exciting. It also comes with several other attachments that I couldn't keep straight on when and where to use them so I just used the same head for legs and armpits. Overall, excellent epilator, pointless attachments, which is why I give this product 4 stars. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Fantastic Performer, Pointless attachments

In exchange for doing this review, I received a free sample of the Philips Satinelle Prestige wet and dry Epilator.
There are many heads to this device which I really appreciate because the massage head is a wonderful added bonus. The hair removal heads are many and can be a bit confusing.I will more than likely stick to one or two as opposed to constantly switching heads. The #7 efficiency cap seems to work best and fastest for me.The exfoliator head feels terrific and removes dead cells and leaves my skin smooth and silky. I`m not sure how many times I will take advantage of this head but it sure feels great! 
The rechargeable battery did not last a full 40 minutes for me as the box stated but being cordless is an added plus. The travel pouch keeps all of the parts in one place.
Overall, I did like this Epilator as it is a great improvement over previous ones that I have used

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

I was surprised when I received this product and it came with so many attachments. I have not had that experience with my other epilator. 

storage: the product comes in a good quality package that is easy to open. The epilator itself comes with a average drawstring white baggy that holds the product and all accessories for storage. The bag feels waterproof but it's nothing special. 

Epilator: the product comes with a charger (obviously) but I would prefer that it charged with a masgnetic charger, the kind you set a product on and it clings to the charger like a magnet. This charger you have to plug into the product which I do not think makes it waterproof if you get water into the charger hole. (Sorry I'm not tech savvy). Besides that, I have had the product a week and Have not had to charge it. According to the instructions, the charging time is 1.5 hours and offers 40 minutes of wireless operating time. 

Assembly: The attachments are easy to apply to the main unit. 

Waterproof? I was confused with the instructions. Instructions say to use the product in the shower or bath on wet skin. But a couple of sentences later, instructions say to make sure your skin is completely dry I feel using on dry skin. Seems a bit contradictory. I know it says if your using it wet, be wet..and if your using on dry skin, be dry but I don't understand why it would matter. 

I have used on both dry and wet hair.

Does the product work or not? Yes. I do like the product. Without the “caps” the epilator does not catch my hairs on my legs very well. Especially around the bony parts of my legs, around the knees. The epilator is shaped like a cresent but that made it hard to “fit” the shape of my skinny legs around the knee. Dry or wet. BUT when I used the caps, the epilator worked much better at catching my hairs. For the hairs it didn't get (around the knees) I used the shaver attachment. 

Shaver: I've never used a motorized shaver. This was a pleasant surprise as I never knew the benefits of having one were before this epilator. It is great, easy to use, and quick when you just want to shave real quick without the discomfort of your hairs being pulled out.

Pain: I've felt worse. With the caps that come with the epilator, pain is reduced. I heard the discomfort goes away with use, like your body will get used to it. I haven't gotten to that happy place yet but after all, it's only been a week. The pain is quick like little needles poking you by surprise. 

Massage Attachment: so, this would be better it the attchement didn't spin like a fan. I would prefer a pulse but it spins like a facial cleanser brush. It's interesting. I have used it. It's not relaxing but it's something. I like pressing it to my sore spots but since it spins I worry abuot using ti on hairy legs or over fabric. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I do not dislike it, I'm neutral. I would like it to vibrate or pulsate, not spin. 

Over all. I will be using this often. It it like a mini spa for hair removal. I like the way a person can customize their experiences with it using the caps. And I look forward to trying out the body brush, something I haven't done yet.

It works but not the way I was hoping for. It breaks the hairs a lot. The light doesn't help, actually it makes it more difficult to see.

So so

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My expectations were somewhat high based on the research done online prior to receiving the actual product. This product is no better or worse than other products currently on the market. I was particularly disappointed with the shaving attachment for shaving. I had to use the epilator 2-3 times just to get an average shave and then I had to follow up with a razor to get the clean, smooth shave I was looking for. All others gadgets were acceptable but my main focus was the shaver and it did not meet up to my expectations.
I would not personally purchase this product.

Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator

I was given a free Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator, in exchange for a review. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and I'm a little disappointed. I expected it to be great! But it doesn't grab the hairs as well as I thought it would. It's not as painful as I expected, but you have to do the area a few times to get all of the hair. I'd rather have something hurt a little more and be done than have to keep going over the same area. I'm disappointed but it does get the job done if you take the time to go over the area a couple times. All in all, I'd say it's just ok.
