Don't order directly from Le Creuset

The cocotte itself is fine. My problems were with the ordering and delivery. I ordered two cocottes in two different colors and it took almost a week and a half for Le Creuset to email me to let me know that one of the colors was out of stock. Instead of asking if I'd like to substitute, they said they would issue me a refund and ship the one cocotte. I emailed back asking to substitute colors, and so they put in a new order and didn't issue the refund. I never received tracking info for either of the cocottes before they arrived at my door. For the first cocotte, I did get a notice that it shipped 3 days after it was delivered. I received no notice that the second one shipped.

I was a fan of Le Creuset when I bought this

But I am no longer. The piece is fine, it is what it is, but their lifetime warranty on their cookware is a myth. I am not new to their products, I know how to care for them and when an issue came up with one piece they insisted I did something to the pan I never had and would not honor their warranty even though the expensive piece was defective. Then they offered as a courtesy to replace it, but basically still calling me a liar. If they don't honor warranty, then they are no different than their less expensive competitiors.

Very fragile

These little cocottes are very cute and a big crowd pleaser. The problem is, I've used them twice and both times one has either chipped or broken. They are extremely fragile. One time, the lid slipped and tapped another in transit and chipped. The second time, the handle hit the edge of a plate and shattered. While both these accidents were my fault, I don't think I will buy replacements because I need something a bit more hard wearing.

Love it, but made in China???

I love the look and functionality, but one of the reasons I purchased LeCreuset was the fact that their products are made in France. I was really surprised to find a "Made in China" sticker on the bottom of the pot. My sister had me convinced that I purchased a knock-off. I double checked the LeCreuset website and nope, the website was legit. I just didn't realize that their products are no longer made in France!!

I never received the cocotte in blue color. They simply sent me the white ones and even after reaching out to the customer support, I received no response. I will not be ordering from the website going forward.

Do not recommend 24 oz. Cocoette

Disappointed as a very long time customer of lecruset. I own 12 mini (8oz) and 8 (42oz) cocottes.and over 20 other products from Dutch ovens to sauce pans. I ordered 3 from Amazon and 2 from another website. The lids do not fit tight. The lids are wobbles. I paid full price for the 24oz. The size is great. The lids not so much

No, I do not recommend this product.
