CROSS TRAINING ADVENTURE

The app does what it's mean to do. But it was so frustrating that Skydio won't tell you which phones will and won't work with this software. My phone easily met the requirements as listed by their website. But then the software wouldn't work. Skydio eventually said "Oh it won't work on that phone model" but then wouldn't give me a list of compatible models! I had to spend another $400 just to get a phone which would let me fly the Skydio. Very annoying.

This is my first professional drone, and even I see the need for an app to either have more of manual control or to make UI user friendly. For example I'd like to be able to rotate the drone with another joystick instead of buttons. I'd like to be able to control the camera. And I'd like to be able to frame-select an object to track. Are those options in the UI, and I don't see them???

Needs lots of work, logs are eating phone storage and there is no way to remove them unless you are rooted and look in the right spot. To uninstall and reinstall just to clear storage is pathetic. The interface is also much to be desired, not intuitive at all. You can't land the drone using sticks if controller is connected, why can't we use offline Google maps when there is no internet access in the area or using tablet that does?....., and I can go on and on. (Don't get me started on the range issue, but that's probably more hardware than anything else) PLEASE get to it and listen to user suggestions Thanks. Edit: After the new 6.0.5 update the storage/log issue was fixed To respond the developer: Thanks for looking in to the map issue. Not sure if you are aware but those two hardware buttons on the controller do not work (confirmed with Skydio support )

Thanks for your feedback. This helps us identify pain points to work on. Customers have been encountering issues loading offline maps and we are looking for solutions. The controller has a land button under the Home button. When landing, this is the only way to shut off the obstacle avoidance so that the ground is not perceived as a barrier.
