Hi Jesse, thanks for your question. We recommend applying the second coat within 72 hours of finishing the first coat for the best results. If it's been longer than 72 hours, I recommend testing the second coat on a small area first. Enjoy the rest of your day! -Christina
Hi Sammy, thanks for your question. Our Premium Solid Color Stain & Sealer cures in about 72 hours. Please keep in mind that it is okay to use on vertical plywood, but is not recommended for plywood floors. Enjoy the rest of your day! -Christina
Hi Skip, thank you for your question. The Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain & Sealer needs to dry for 1 hour between the first and second coat. Have a great day! -Lina
Hi Nadine, thanks for the question. You can paint over the existing paint with our Solid-Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer. If the existing paint is glossy, I'd recommend scuff-sanding it first with 150-180 grit sandpaper. Also I'd recommend cleaning the surface with our All-In-One Wood Cleaner before applying the stain. If you have additional questions about your project, please reach out to us directly. Our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
Hi Donnie, thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend thinning our Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain & Sealer. The product can be sprayed at packaged consistency using an airless sprayer using a 60 mesh filter and a .015-.019 tip size. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any other questions. -Lina
No, that is not recommended. Mike
Hi MICHAEL, thanks for your question. Our Premium Semi-Transparent Stain can be applied over a water-based stain on pressure treated wood. Have a great day! -Christina
Hi Randy, thanks for your question. You can use an airless sprayer with a .015-.019 tip to apply our Premium Solid Color Stain & Sealer. Have a great day! -Christina
