Taking a trip to Florida and need beach and night-out sandals. Nearly all of my shoes are size 15 but my ideal size is a 14 wide. In sandals I go down to a 14. I purchased 8 sandals to compare. Born Surf $100: Keeper Fit perfect. Hard to see it being better. Thinking of buying a second pair. OluKai Mea Ola Slide $130: Returned Best designed and awesomest looking sandal out there. Day1: They slipped off my foot quite easily. Figured I had no choice but to return. Day2: Found it much easier to get them to stay on. The straps were just slightly off for my foot. If they were slightly cheaper I would have kept them but at $130 I figured I better be really happy. I bet, if I tried a few other pairs in the same size one would fit. I plan on trying this brand again. Born Joshua $100: Returned Fit pretty well, the layered insole pattern was slightly uncomfortable. I recommend that they keep the insole to one layer of "leather" and not try to be fancy. Tommy Bahama Shore Crest Slide $80: Returned They didn't fit. Likely need to order a 15 in these. Loved the look and really wanted to keep them. Rockport Darwyn Cross Band $65: Returned Day1: Loved them. Fit great. Day2: Changed my mind. I noticed that the edge all around the sandal has a raised and sharp rubber flange to accommodate the stitching. Unless my foot was set perfectly in the center of the sandal the raised edge dug into my foot. I loved the shoe so much I tried to think of ways to trim it back. Maybe I could use a knife to cut it off or heat it and then squish the edge down. In the end I figured it better to return. Seems like a design flaw. adidas Adilette $45: Returned Fit terrible. Front of slide pinched badly. Only did a short walk but could feel the pinch the next day. Nike Benassi Solarsoft Slide 2 $30: Keeper Fit awesome. Hard to see this not fitting. DC Bolsa $20: Returned Fit good. Only returned because Nike Benassi was better.

Nice style and footbed is cushioned and comfortable. Unfortunately, these need to be returned because the straps are sewn on the footbed in such a way that the strap is sort of underfoot and rubs on the arch-not good!

These were a return, I didn’t like how they looked in either brown leather option. They looked like something someone would wear with a thick pair of white gym socks. Not my goal.
