Back in 2015, adidas and the environmental organisation
Parley for the Oceans brought a prototype shoe to the United Nations to show what could be achieved in the fight to end plastic waste. Fast-forward to today and the two brands are celebrating their five-year collaboration anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, they’ve whipped up the
Ocean Runner lace-up trainers. Made with yarn spun from reclaimed plastic, it’s safe to say they’re solving the problem of ocean plastics one pair of recycled trainers at a time.
