Excellent yeast - crazy price
I always use this and it works brilliantly, but why is it now nearly a pound more than other supermarkets? Its more expensive here than any other supplier
doesnt last long
Its one big packet that you have to use up quite quick, so unless you bake a lot its not worth the price.
Expensive
I get perfect bread every time with this yeast, just follow the instructions for use, it isn't the same as other dried yeasts. I won't be buying it a 2.20 though. Last month it was 1.30
Failed
I have been making my own Bread for years , I have never bought Doves before . The Dough is fine until placed in oven and then it deflates . Four 2lb loaves and the same thing happened every time !!
works perfectly so I'm happy
good rise and flavour. a regular purchase
New packet resulted in two wasted loaves
We typically use Allisons yeast and thought we would try this brand as they do great flour. Ive now wasted two loaves with this yeast. All other ingredients, bread settings identical. Both times, it has failed to rise. Avoid!
