About the author
Jean Pederson is a talented artist who balances painting with teaching and writing. She has led numerous workshops in universities, professional organization and symposiums. Well known for her mastery of watercolors, mixed media has become an important vehicle for her creative expression. She has been honored with numerous national and international awards over the years as well as exhibited across the world. Jean is a contributing editor for The Artist’s Magazine and her work has appeared in several of the Splash best-of-watercolor series as well as Watercolor Artist, Magazin’Art and many more. Jean has written two books and has released four educational DVDs. In addition she is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society (AWS).
