This wastebasket is a great size for kitchens or other areas where a large basket is needed. It is very durable and built well. The touch top with lock is a great feature and I really like this aspect of the product as well.

We have a new 85 lbs puppy that was getting into our trash can in the kitchen. This can stopped him. It stays shut and locked even if tipped over or dropped.

I find Sterilite product quality to be very consistent and can say the same for this wastebasket. I like that the top clicks on so it will hold the trash bag and I do not have to worry about the trash bag falling in. Another plus is the locking feature which is super helpful in keeping my toddlers out! I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

I mean let's be honest it's just a trash bin but we all need one ! And this is the one to get ! I love the push button I love the top I don't like a garbage without a top the lid seems to keep everything in including any odors! . fits perfectly in my kitchen ! I've had mine for years it's very easy to clean and extremely durable!

Perfect for our big long term projects

I found this wastebasket easy to assemble and use. 
I like the shape and it fits well in my kitchen. It is the right size for the needs of a family of 2 adults. Would be nice if it came in a choice of colors. 
I usually purchase a wastebasket that you step on pedal to open. I liked the feature of the touch top to open and close. My only concern is durability of the touch top. No problems after several months of use.

This trashcan is great to fit into small areas. I like that I can fit the trashcan in my panty without any issues. Its a small can but it holds a good amount of trash.The top is convenient and helps to keep any odors at bay.

Great trashcan for small spaces.

I LIke the size and style of this wastebasket. It fits perfectly in the space beside my refrigerator. I like the wastebasket the only problem is that it can be difficult to open sometimes when you are trying to change the trash bag. Overall it's a good product and I would recommend it

I like it, mostly

I bought 3 of these about 2 months ago (one for the kitchen trash and 2 to store dog food in a way that my 1-year old can't access it) and it worked great! For about a month. After a month of normal use, the plastic pieces that hold the hinge-springs in place started bending out (making it impossible to open without some sort of tool to pry the latch open) and have since broken off entirely so the lid doesn't even attach to it's frame anymore. And I haven't found anywhere where I can just purchase a replacement lid... I'd have to buy a whole new trash can.

Great Concept - but the lids break too easily

We got this since we have a toddler in the house always getting into the garbage. It worked great and deterred our toddler grandson from getting into the garbage, but after 3 months the lever broke off and it doesn't stay shut anymore. It's made with cheap plastic and for any item that is opened constantly throughout the day, you would hope that it would have a heavy grade plastic to withstand the continual opening and closing and locking. After all, why do people buy garbage cans with lockable lids but to keep toddlers safe.

Lid latch broke after 3 months.
