The weights feel like they have sand in them. They do not hurt my ankles like metal fingers. But the sand bags fit tightly and might tear eventually if they are removed and inserted frequently for multiple users wanting different weight values. The advantage of the soft sand bags outweighs the disadvantage.

Needed some weights so wanted to get ones like using in therapy. I like these because you can take out some of the weight . They go from 2/12 to 5 pound. That saves you from buying two different ones. Great price.

These ankle weights are fabulous!  They can easily be adjusted to the weight that suits you, from 5 lbs each leg upt o 15.  The inserts are easy to remove and easy to put back in.

I purchased these to add more resistance to my workouts and have worn them on my walks and just around the house.  The only issue I have had is they slide around even when I have them on pretty tight.  They are serving the purpose I purchased them for.
