Gaze over the still water of your own private fishing pond, catch a few fish (no fishing license is required! And gear is provided.), explore some hiking trails of the Great Smoky Mountains, or soak in the bubbly hot tub. When you are ready, downtown restaurants and shopping are all only a skip away. Come home to curl up by the fire. This little cabin has it all!
This studio cabin is wonderful for couples and smaller families.
- Features a KING sized master bed, as well as a pull-down queen murphy bed, and some fold away extras for your convenience (2 cushioned floor chairs, a playpen, and an extra cot sleeper)

Check-in is at 4:00 pm. Guests can access the entire cabin, pond, and deck in front, and extra lot with a fire pit across the lane.

The Fishing Hole is conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Positioned at the base of the mountain there are no steep mountain roads or drop-offs to worry about. All paved roads make it easy to come and go between Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and all the national parks of the Great Smoky Mountains.
For the ideal experience and freedom to explore all the area, a vehicle would be the best option. For guests who would like to use public transportation, the Trolley Stop is only 1.5 miles away on Powdermill Road, in the Arts and Crafts District. Park your car and take the Gatlinburg Trolley all over Gatlinburg.
-Since the pond is private, our guests do not need to worry about obtaining a fishing license while at the cabin.
-We do not at this time have a dishwasher
-This spring-fed pond is stocked with longear sunfish, bluegill, rainbow trout, and largemouth bass.
- Our cabin is not wheelchair accessible and does have an entrance with some stairs.
-The cabin is about ten minutes by car to downtown.
-We have a strict no smoking policy and ask that you do not smoke within 10 feet of the cabin and responsibly dispose of your cigarette butts.
- There is a minimum $150 fee for pet damage and we kindly ask that all pets remain in their kennels when you're out and about.
