I love ,love , love this pot. I purchased  three of them as a Black Friday special for Christmas presents. Kept one for myself and I absolutely love it. I use it prob 3-4 times a week. It is so quick and easy to make a complete meal. I have to.d numerous people about my pot and sing its praises, 
I have made Spanish rice , chicken and rice , spareribs and sauerkraut  chicken and dumplings split pea soup , cooed rice made hard boiled eggs etc. I wished I had gotten this a long time ago. I am absolutely in love with it. 
I recommend it to everyone. You will not be sorry and it will not disappoint.

The best pot made.

The Viva Instant Pot was delivered as scheduled in a very sturdy Instant Pot box. 
Following its tech book directions, I sauted and then pressure cooked a pork roast in it.  Then once it cooled down, I added small potatoes, pressured cooked an additional 10 minutes and I had an amazing meal.  The digital controls are similar to a microwave oven, with many choices and presets. It beeps to notify what process is occurring.  Other than the beeps, there is no noise like the old fashion pressure cookers my grandparents had.  The most enjoyable is the ease of cooking.  It heats up, pressures cooks and then cools down, according to your settings, without having to watch it or control the burner heat or turning it off manually. The safety and ease of use is its best feature.  I could be distracted and know that it would turn itself off safely. And my food turns out just right...no more overpressured cooked mush.  I know that most pressure cooked food provides more nutrition than other ways of preparing food which was the main reason I bought it. I was so pleased with this product that I told all my friends...!

The Amazing Instant Pot

I became curious about instant pot after watching a lot of video on how easy it is to cook. Till i finally stumble with this. For the right price i decided to buy it and its the best decision i made.. As soon as i get i used it and the food came out nicely. Cleaning is easy too.

Best purchase

I love this thing I made chicken noodle soup and only had about an hour to get it completely finished. The soup was done in less time I haven't had a chacne to use all the setting yet but can't wait for the chance.

I had been wanting to try out the Instant Pot for quite some time. The pot arrived in perfect condition. I have been using it for about 3 months now and I love it! Pressure cooking feels like a breeze with this. Rice, lentils and legumes come out perfect. Can't wait to try out more recipes.

Instant Pot made my life easier!

Came in the product box but in perfect  condition  so I was a lucky one. It works perfectly  I made yogurt rice and purchaced a air fryer  lid for 50 bucks on amazon .The fry lid worked great on my instant pot. I paid only 49.99 for the instant pot so i am extreamly happy.

Great kitchen appliance.

Great price....this is my fifth electric pressure cooker....got a 3 qt., three 6 qt., one 8 qt.....long story....this one was delivered by FedEx...box had minor damage..multicooker suffered some damage to the base/outer pot area..., just past the left handle....several pieces of black ?plastic? broken.......Walmart.com offered several options....I chose to keep this pot, and received $25 promo code to use on future purchase....

This cooker is great which is why I turned around and bought another for my daughter to manage her busy household.  The one star removed is because it was supposed to be shipped in a larger Walmart box so the contents would be a Christmas surprise.  Unfortunately, it was shipped as is. (and See picture, shipped just like this:(   So if youre buying as a gift, keep that in mind.
This pot is easy to use, even for someone who had another  brand for years that worked entirely differently.  My old pot had a nonstick interior which wasn't,  so I wanted a genuine instapot with a stainless steel interior.  The first recipe I tried was one that stuck and burned in my last pot.  This worked like a dream.  Next I tried a rice, chicken and cheese recipe...same wonderful result.  I haven't tried a lot of recipes but Im looking forward to using it a lot.  My daughter, by the way, while not a surprise, was thrilled!

Pot is great, gift shipping, not so much.

Unfortunately I had to return my much anticipated Instant Pot Viva. On performing the trial test, it would not stop releasing steam once the pressure indicator popped up. The pressure release valve was in the correct position but it was releasing steam, like a geyser, whether I tested it opened or closed. Rubber gasket was in place so not much else to check. I returned as a defective unit.
I'm done with Instant Pot. I had to return the first one I purchased. It was the 8 qt model and was ridiculously heavy.

Defective unit so unable to review features

Just opened my brand new (not listed as damaged or re-furbished Viva 6qt Instant Pot and it was beautiful til I turn it around to remove tape on drip cup and saw the huge dent in the back. The box seemed fine which leads me to believe that a new box was given to an obvious re-furnished or returned item.
Fed-Ex delivered it.
I am thankful I had not sent this as a gift, because I would be mortified. 
As this was a gift to me by family, I want to know what Walmart is going to do about this.
I wont trust another shipment based on other reviews on here that sound identical to mine.
