Blade Broke within a year

Started out great, very sharp, love the slim block. But I was cutting a block of cheddar cheese with the largest chef knife, and the blade broke off. We always washed by hand and stored in the block when dry. Blade totally rusted out in the handle!

Knives great, but Bamboo block awful

Wish I had seen the reviews before purchasing …. The knives themselves are great, but the bamboo holder is terrible. The magnets keep falling out, which means the knives are not held securely and therefore have become dangerous. I’m so disappointed ☹️
