We went to visit some family and they busted out this game to play. At first it was a bit confusing (like most games seem for my foggy old brain) but once you play a few rounds you are up and rolling. The whole family loved it. So much so that we went home and bought one of our own. Even my teenage -video gaming - son wants to play. And that's saying something these days. Ha

Awesome game

I love it!!

We have played splendor at least 50 times this year. Our family has all enjoyed it, playable for 8 on up. Even the more game resistant players we have seem to enjoy this one. It's a strategy game for 2-4 players, the pieces are great, and the variation from game to game is as diverse as any card game for awesome replayability. 5/5 stars for splendor!

Splendor is so much fun! We have a blast playing it! 
It's great for both small and large groups! 

We love this game so much we have played it every night a couple times since we opened it! Once you get the hang of it, it's a super fun game of strategy that will leave you wanting to play again! 

My 10 and 12 year old enjoy it as much as we do. The asthetics of the whole game and quality of the gemstones and to the enjoyment of this game!

I think this a wonder full game

I was first introduced to this game at game night at my son's house.   typically, we are playing things like,  Scythe, Catan, mission to Mars,  etc.  This game was a nice switch from the heavy plotting and planning games.  Easy to pick up and play without brain strain.  lol

Playtime!

Splendor is a fun combo of strategy %26 luck that will quickly become your favorite. It's easy to learn %26 plays is about 30min. It says it's for ages 10 , but my son has been playing it with us since he was 8. If we have more than 4 players, we play as pairs %26 that's also a lot of fun. The game pieces are really good quality %26 is made to last for many years. I can't think of another game we've played that is similar to Splendor, it's that original of a concept. Pick Splendor up for your next game night, you won't regret it!

You'll quickly become addicted to playing Splendor

Game itself is great, but the box is damaged upon arrival. Pretty disappointing as this is a gift for my partner.

I can't give a review of the game itself because I was sent a set of Rubbermaid instead of the game. I sent the Rubbermaid back and was told they would send the game as soon as they received it, but that was almost a month ago and they are still claiming they haven't received it. I suspect they're waiting to get the game back that they never sent me. I'm sure it's a fun game, and I'll review it as soon as I get one and can play it.
