Distiller Notes
Young in spirit, old in soul, Lobos 1707 Tequila, Joven comes from premium aged, Blue Weber agave Blanco Tequila that is mixed with a measure of Lobos 1707 Tequila, Reposado. It is carbon-filtered, then finished in historic PX wine barrels using the solera method, resulting in a more mature flavor profile than any other Silver or Blanco Tequila. Expressive of cultivated agave with tobacco, herb, and earth notes. Excellent balanced body, with slight balsamic tones, and strong notes of freshly cut Blue Weber agave. Stir this exceptional liquid alone or elevate any cocktail – perfect in a Bloody Mary or Paloma. Pairs well with cucumber, ginger, jalapeño peppers, and the full citrus family.

First produced in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors ran short of Brandy on their expedition to the New World, Tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. Tequilas can range from clear and unaged, known as Blanco, to darker, barrel-aged Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo. Popularized as the essential ingredient to the refreshing Margarita, it is also commonly enjoyed neat or with a side of lime and salt.
