Cybperpunk 2077 Granular Review
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure RPG developed by CD Projekt Red and set in a stunningly realized cyberpunk future. You play as V, a mercenary on a quest for a highly coveted implant that would grant immortality. Night City is an immense, neon-drenched metropolis with six unique regions to explore. The world building and attention to detail here is staggering - Night City truly feels alive and vibrant (and dangerous) as you navigate the bustling streets from your perspective in first-person. In terms of gameplay, Cyberpunk 2077 offers immense player choice and flexibility. You can customize V's backstory, appearance, attributes and playstyle extensively. Do you want to be a brute force tank or a hacker that can turn enemies' weapons against them? A silver-tongued negotiator or a stealthy assassin? All playstyles are viable. The gunplay and combat mechanics feel smooth and satisfying, especially combined with the unique gadgets and cyberware upgrades V can acquire. The RPG systems allow you to unlock new abilities in hacking, engineering and more depending on how you want to play. The main story campaign is gripping and full of twists and turns as you pursue the secret to immortality. Night City is packed with engaging characters to meet and faction questlines to complete. The writing and voice acting are top notch, bringing this world to life. A highlight are the brilliantly written side quests - each one tells a meaningful cyberpunk story. There is easily over 100 hours of content here between the main quests, side activities, world exploration and re-playability with different character builds. In terms of presentation, Cyberpunk 2077 is a visual tour de force on current gen hardware and PC. Ray tracing and high resolution texture packs let Night City shine in all its twisted, neon glory. The soundtrack perfectly complements the tone with a mix of driving synths and rock music. While it still has some bugs here and there, the vast scale and ambition on display in Cyberpunk 2077 is mightily impressive. CD Projekt Red have delivered a staggeringly detailed open world RPG that tells a brilliant cyberpunk story and gives you the freedom to play how you want. This is a game that was worth the wait. Overall, I highly recommend Cyberpunk 2077 to any mature RPG fan that wants to lose themselves in Night City. This is a new high watermark for open world games with its incredible sense of place and atmosphere, meaningful player choice and strong writing. Just make sure your hardware can keep up for the full experience!

Glitchy but a brand new world!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glitchy, fun and a new open world, that would sum it up really. The glitches can be hilarious at times but I wouldn’t say that it is funny in a remarkable way, although it is remarkable how glitchy it can be. I think that the majority of casual gamers it will be a great hit or a big miss, I personally enjoy the game very much, it is a refreshing new world, it has many flaws. In a way I guess it’s kinda like Watch Dogs but dystopian and futuristic, it is refreshing and a fun and exciting world (there is even a Portal reference) but it is to certain extent a 1st-Person GTA with RPG elements. To be fair I have not played the game extensively like I have Smash Bros, but I think it is a fantastic game, I think you are going to like it but remember there is alot of bugs and at times the glitches will be intense, I really enjoy it despite this, but I would recommend trying to get it on sale just because it really is a game you will love, or hate.

A Masterclass In Story Held Back By Bugs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overview: The next large release from CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the Magnum Opus "The Witcher 3". This is an open world RPG/FPS in a futuristic setting where corporations and gangs alike run amuck. The Good: When its working properly, there is hardly any other game open world RPG as good as Cyberpunk. The level of detail that CD Projekt Red put into making Night City, the setting of the game, is unmatched. Even the trash in trash bins is rendered and hand crafted - that's the level of detail we're talking about here. The RPG skill tree system is a bit convoluted, but competent enough. The FPS gunplay starts out slow but becomes more and more satisfying as you progress and unlock new weapons and abilities. You can hijack vehicles, but this isn't like GTA - you'll need to have the requisite skills to do many such tasks in game. The story is where this game shines. You could play this game a dozen times, and you might receive a different kind of ending each playthrough. This isn't filler content ether - even the side quests are engaging and worthwhile. The Bad: The bugs - they're everywhere! This game needs some patching, and fast. It's frankly almost unplayable on older generation consoles such as the Xbox One and PS4. Many quests are unable to be completed, and the resolution is shoddy at best for much of the game - especially when the action ramps up. This game wasn't ready to be released when it was Interesting Tidbit: You can receive free Witcher themed content if you sign up with CD Projekt Red. Recommended? Yes - But only on next generation consoles, or a high end gaming PC. Tl;dr , Amazing game that would have gotten 5 stars if not for the shaky launch that was plagued with bugs and technical issues.

Awesome Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm playing the game on the Xbox Series X. It looks great, runs smooth and is a blast to play. Almost hits 4K 60 FPS in Quality mode. Probably runs about 50 FPS most of the time. Great story and setting. Characters are convincing and well written. If you managed to secure a next gen console or you at least have an Xbox Series X or PS4 Pro it's totally worth it. The occasional bug or crash can be annoying but not enough to detract from the game itself. It autosaves about every 5 minutes so crashes won't cause you to lose too much progress and most glitches can be resolved by simply reloading the last save. If you own the OG Xbox One or PS4 from 2013 I'd highly suggest giving this game a pass until you're able to upgrade though.

An Underrated Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For reference, my console is an Xbox Series X and my TV is the LG OLED CX equipped to display games in 4K/HDR. I really don't know what game the guys are playing who give 1 star. I mean the graphics are stunning, just breathtaking and amazing. This feels like GTA Next GeN! So dense and real life feeling in the city. Driving is amazing. And did you see the animations and especially FACIAL ANIMATIONS?! This is blowing my mind. I have to say I'm playing on Xbox Series X in Graphics Mode. But even in Performance mode it looks awesome. I don't know about the old gen consoles. But guys, let's be honest, what do you expect? The last generation is about what, 7 years old! Do you really expect the same graphics like on next gen and PC? C'mon... For everyone else, this is the best AAA game that has been released since Red Dead Redemption 2. The environments and characters are the best I've ever seen on console and the world is more immersive than just about any other. This is one of the only games where I always drive to my next location rather than fast-traveling just so I can take in the sights. The game is definitely story-driven; this is not a Fallout: New Vegas where you can totally ignore the main story and still feel totally satisfied with your character 50 hours later (though you will easily sink 50 hours into Cyberpunk). Combat, crafting, and levelling are excellent, if not anything particularly new, and are very much like Fallout or The Outer Worlds. Once you complete Act 1, you are free to explore the city at your leisure and there are an ample number of side missions and minor activities to take on to keep you engaged. Progressing through the main story will take you to new areas and to meet new side characters, all of whom are worthwhile and none of whom outstay their welcome. There is always more to do and see and the game will keep you engrossed for hours on end.

Game Of The Year
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is a masterpiece! CDPR outdid themselves once again. The game looks and plays flawlessly on my Series X. Haven't had any bugs or anything since launch day and CDPR is constantly working to improve the game. The story is perfect, the game design is perfect. Everything about it is perfect easily the best game to come out of 2020.

Good But Flawed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t had any crashes but there are many graphical and sound glitches here and there. I’ve enjoyed playing it so far I’m about 25 hours in and I’m playing on a Xbox Series X. I wish I would’ve bought the pc version I have a powerful pc 9900ks strix 2080ti or 5950x 6800xt taichi and it would’ve ran and looked better on either system. I just wanted to buy a game for the new console. (well the series x I've bought a couple ps5 games lately) I could understand a 1 star rating if you played it on the ps4 or one. While it ran good enough on the one x it was a horrible experience on the one and I could imagine the ps4. The witcher 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time and I really hope they get cyberpunk 2077 fixed then move on to another witcher game. The driving is a little wonky at times and combat is pretty easy I'm enjoying the story and some of the side missions. And the cops are so brain dead i wish the game was more like they envisioned with the wanted system. I know this sounds like a 2 or 3 star review and i might be biased because of my love for the witcher 3 and 2, one was ok i never finished it. I’ve been playing on visual mode which locks the framerate to 30fps. I just wanted to get the best visuals and I’m playing it on a lg cx oled.

Q: QuestionCurious about whether DLC will be included with this version or if there will be an option to get a deluxe version that includes DLC? The only other version available currently is the collector's edition which doesn't seem to mention DLC either.
Asked by Essvee.
- A:Answer They will release DLC’s after the games release, the collectors edition is just with all of the extra trinkets, it doesn’t include and DLC’s because they haven’t developed any yet. However, Cyberpunk will not include any micro transactions, which means any new guns or skins that are added after release will be available for free to whoever bought the game. The only thing that makes you pay is when the come out with DLC’s. The reason for this is because the DLC’s are supposed to be as big as a average game, just like The Witcher 3. So the only thing that you will have to buy once you get the standard or collectors edition is new DLC’s that are released.

Asked by Cyberpunk2077Rewards.
