The seven pencils are each marked with a day of the week for the puzzle you’re completing. The five daily pencils are white with black lettering. The weekend pencils, for the more challenging Saturday and Sunday puzzles, are black. We've put white letter on Saturday and saved gold lettering for Sunday, the toughest puzzle of the week.
Each is a standard No. 2 hexagonal pencil and 7.5” long with an eraser – just in case you need to change an answer.
