It also looks great and will protect your table from heat damage. Use as a place setting, and for your hot dishes. Each one has its own distinct color pattern And looks elegant on your table. Hello! I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and I will be doing a review on the Better Homes & Gardens Placemat, which came in a Natural Jute Color. 

Oh, how beautiful. This placemat is very thick, soft and has a nice braided texture. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. I love that beige and tan color mixed together. It has a very nice width for my large dinner plates, and bowls of soup. What I really like about this placemat is that it makes my dinner table looks stunning! Also, I love the way it protects my table from the hot servings of food, and that moisture that comes from it. This placemat is also reversible in which I can use either side.
I also love to use this placemat to set my casserole dishes on top, and place it the center of the table for a more charming look. Not only do I use it for setting the table, but I use it for decorations like placing my desk lamp on it. 

Overall, the Better Homes & Gardens Placemat - Natural Jute is very lovely for setting the most beautiful table for my breakfast and dinner, other decorations, and is very stylish. I love it!

This lovely placemat is perfect for making dinner look beautiful. The mat is nicely cushioned and goes well with any decor. Easy to wipe off after use. Has enough space to hold a full sized dinner plate.

Perfect for accenting dinner

This is my review of the Better Homes & Gardens Jute Braid 14 Natural Square Placemat. I found the Better Homes & Gardens Jute Braid 14 Natural Square Placemat to be of very good quality and durability. The placement is of very heavy material and the thickness of the placemat is very nice for placing hot items on the placemat and know that the heat will not penetrate through and affect the place where you have set the hot item. This placemat is certainly thicker than any placemats that I have purchased previously. The Better Homes & Gardens Jute Braid 14 Natural Square Placemat has the material braided so it add thickness and strength to the placemat, and that allows me to use the placemat not only as a plate setting but it allows me to place very hot items directly on my dining table and not be concerned that the heat will have an effect on the table top material. These are so thick and durable that I am thinking of using them only for hot items and not as plate setting for my dining table. The name Better Homes and Gardens has always been related to good quality and these placemats continue on that. I would recommend the Better Homes & Gardens Jute Braid 14 Natural Square Placemat.

Nice heavy placemat

The Better Homes and Gardens Jute Braid 14 inch Natural Square Placemat is a lovely addition to an informal table setting. It is made in India and appears to be durable. The braids are crisscross sewn together. Should not scratch a bare table. Spot clean. The size is adequate for a large plate. It could also be used for centerpieces or placement of various forms of decor. I only have one, but a set would be a lovely wedding/shower gift.

Attractive Square Placemat

I received this placemat just yesterday. Just in time, as I had guests over and we were serving lots of hot dishes. I used this protect my table from the hot cookware. It is thick and soft. I plan to purchase 5 matching placemats for my family. It comes just as pictured. I would highly recommend.

Quality Placemat

Time to do away with pot stands at the dining table. This mat is great to place pots and pans straight from the stove top or oven without worrying about burning your table top. It's size can accommodate larger casseroles too. No matter how long the hot dish is placed on the mat, no amount of heat Or moisture penetrates to the table. It's easy to fold and store away. Has a rustic look and can blend in any table setting indoor or outdoor. It would not be ideal for a formal table arrangement.

Absorbs all the heat

This mat is very pretty, the natural material used to weave the pattern is very appealing. My only complaint is because of the material and weave pattern, it fray's easily so if used for anything other than looks, probably won't look nice for very long.

Table Place Mat

I ordered eight placemats and I would have rated them at 5 stars, but they were a bit inconsistent in color and shape. I didn't mind though, because of the rustic farmhouse feel I was going for. The weave seems very sturdy and they should hold up well with use.

Good quality for the price.

As a mat under a center piece so it looks pretty good
