I'm not much of a fan of play doh, just because my anxiety goes thru the roof thinking about the mess it may cause, but they did pretty good with being able to keep it contained. So mess factor was a plus for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Play-Doh sand provided hours of screenless fun for my kids. Sand and slime and everything squishy is so huge right now. I love the variety that this six pack came with. The only thing that might drive parents nuts is the amount of glitter that is left on hands after. The teeny shovel and bucket are absolutely adorable as well. Play-Doh is such a fun favorite and this is a great addition!

The different colors are great and the container they come in are mark in a way that you know which color goes in which container.  The glitter ones are stretchy and the plain ones are more like sand.  The only issues is the glitter ones, leaves glitter pieces on your hands.  It comes with a few accessories which is nice, a little shovel, bucket, and shell type design cutter.

Lots of Fun

I haven't perfected finding an easy way to clean it up yet, though, as it does create lots of crumbs and you can't just use one large clump to pick up the rest like with clay. 3 of the colors stretch out really neat and the kids love it the most. I don't like the glitter because it gets everywhere, but that is the same with literally anything that has glitter on it, not just this product. It comes with a stamper shovel thing, a little bucket and also a cutter shaped like a seashell.

It's a fun thing for kids but I definitely suggest a mess mat or outside play we keep finding sand and glitter from this no matter how much we clean it. also there's nothing like being smacked in the face by a sand blob it's definitely not safe for open eyeballs!!!! If you were to get the review just from my 8 year old he would give it a 10 out of 5. On the parent spectrum this is something an aunt or uncle buys as revenge from childhood traumas you may have caused them!

Messy!

The sand texture was approved by my kids but very disappointed when I saw my kids hands with the glitter one  the color was everywhere even in their dolls.

Sand great

Some of the stretchy sand is dry. One of the three has amazing consistency- its too bad they were all that way. Also the glitter gets EVERYWHERE. It would be a better product with no glitter or smaller flecks of glitter/shimmer that stayed in the sand.
Fun- but overall I would not recommend this product.
