Getting the most out of your data

- [Josh] Excel continues to embrace the wonderful world of analytics. It seems like almost every day a new feature is being released, making it increasingly easy for even the novice user to take data and turn it into a powerful story. This story may be used to drive better performance or perhaps influence government policy setting. In this course, I'm going to show you how to quickly import data into an Excel workbook and then seamlessly reshape it using a query. And by the way, with Excel's Power Query feature, you can easily achieve this without having to write a single line of code. We'll then cover how to merge different data sources together by creating a data model using Excel's Power Pivot. And finally, I'll show you how to take data from your model and turn it into an interactive visualization using some of Excel's powerful inbuilt tools. I'm Josh Rischin and I've been working with Excel for more than 20 years now, and I'm super passionate about helping individuals and enterprises make more evidence-based decisions by unlocking the value of their data. Now, I'm sure you're itching to get started. So, come and join me on this LinkedIn Learning journey as we explore how to work together with Excel's Power Query and Power Pivot.
