Customers frequently mention the MacBook Air's ease of use, impressive battery life, and lightweight design as significant strengths. Its performance, particularly with the M1 chip, also receives high praise, along with its compact size and attractive price point. However, some users express concerns about the limited number of ports and the 8GB RAM configuration. A few also note that the device's heat generation is a point of discussion among users.

Would recommend this computer to everyone. Easy to use and was a game changer. I’m not very good with computers especially when going back to college and completing my studies online only. The MacBook Air was great in staying charged for so long without turning off. Great for multiple opened widows. I used this computer as a personal assistant was great for planning and much more list goes on.

This is the perfect size laptop for school or anything else really. It’s very easy to navigate and adjust to if you’re use to Microsoft computers. You can still download Microsoft word and PowerPoint if you need to use them. Only down fall is it only pretty much just has the power cord port and a head phone port, so you have to buy an adapter to connect a USB or HDMI to the laptop. This is already an expensive laptop so it a little annoying that you have to buy another piece. It is really fast though and has tons of memory. I love the fingerprint touch to unlock the computer and to log in to certain things, it’s very convenient. The battery normally lasts me 3 days before I have to charge it again and it charges back up really fast. The keyboard is very comfortable and this laptop is overall much worth the price!

when I tell you I am smitten by this laptop.... I’m 26 and have never owned my own laptop or made such a hefty purchase but man, was she worth it.
I spent over a week spinning my wheels about what kind of device to get and what brand. Although I am a loyal Apple customer, I didn’t want to spend too much money and was actually going to purchase a windows mid price laptop. BUT, I just KNEW I wouldn’t be completely happy with it and I’d keep thinking about this MacBook Air.
I wanted something that would knock me off my feet, something I’m used to functioning (I’m familiar and comfortable with apple products), and something that would last me a LONG TIME.
Another huge piece of my decision making is the fact that I wanted to be able to play Sims 4 on my new laptop. I’m aware Apple devices historically aren’t for gaming, but guess what, this new M1 chip isn’t messing around. After chatting with some tech professionals at Best Buy and them assuring me this laptop would run Sims 4 beautifully, I knew what I had to do.
Let me just say that the Big Sur update along with this M1 chip make this laptop an absolute DREAM. She is incredible and I cherish her. She runs so smoothly, plays Sims SO smoothly, all of the new updates are outstanding, and I couldn’t be happier.
Worth every dollar spent. 5/5 purchase. You won’t regret it. :)

So far so good! Working fast and efficiently.
Beautiful color. Design is the same as the previous model but the inside feel of it is new. Such as slight enhancements to the apps icons in the main computer screen.
Was worried about it heating since its fanless but no issues so far..I've used it for only about 2 days now. So let's hope it stays great! There were a few lags here and there but that was maybe because of my internet or idk?
But I still like it currently. I use it for college work and also personal use. I also did some light video editing on it. (I'm not a pro yet)
I wanted to get the 16gb ram but bestbuy didn't have the option to upgrade. So its ok as I've heard 8gb should be fine for the majority of users.

Absolutely love it. The sizing is perfect. Nice, light, and thin. Cary Best Buy on Crossroads is the BEST. I went from Durham because the Durham store was very unhelpful with my order and kept canceling it for whatever reason. I was in and out of Carys Best Buy and got deals. Very nice and informative with helping me pick the best mac for me!

Love.. Love .. Love. This laptop is everything you would want in a portable, luxury and sturdy machine. The M1 professor is the fastest professor I have a ever had in a laptop. I have always had windows pc like the Lenovo yoga series but this MacBook Air is a must if you want to bust your productivity. I always wanted to have a mac and this is the best way you can enter in the apple ecosystem.

This has been a terrific lap top for me. It meets my needs and it is easy to use. I'm not always the best with tech, and usually need lots of help from my son, but over the last 18months, I can manage all my computer needs with this device.

This is by far the greatest laptop I have ever used. This laptop's CPU is so good that there is no need for fans to cool it, so you don't have to worry about it being loud or getting too hot. It is very fast and very powerful.
A:AnswerYes. Currently office 365 invokes Rosetta first time to work on m1 processor and from then on it runs great. I have used outlook word and excel and it’s fine. Microsoft will soon release new version of office 365 that runs on native m1 cpu. Go for it. Super fast system.
A:AnswerIt does have Touch ID. As this is an Apple product, it does not have any Microsoft software pre-installed, such as Office. It does have the Apple alternatives - Pages (similar to Word), Numbers (similar to Excel), Keynote (similar to PowerPoint), etc. Similarly, Google Chrome is not pre-installed. Apple’s web browser, Safari, is included.
Take a look under the “Specifications” section. A list of the main Apple applications included are noted under the “Included” subsection.
