The 5M - VP2 mask is a protective mask designed to allow for the insertion of a air-filtration membrane.

Handmade in Brooklyn, New York, USA, the three-layered mask features an outer layer made from a cotton-wool blend and backed with polypropylene and an inner cotton layer and is designed to allow the wearer to insert a membrane which is specified to filter out viruses and most particles.

The mask is designed to cover the lower portion of the face from the bridge of the nose just below the eyes all the way to the ears and where the chin meets the neck, providing more complete coverage than disposable surgical masks. The mask is fitted to the wearer's face via two adjustable elastic straps placed around the ear. A small metal band along the upper portion can be modeled to the nose for a better fit. These features ensure the most snug and functional fit possible.

The mask is not disposable but rather washable and reusable.

To clean, hand wash cold with mild soap/detergent and air dry. Do not use chlorine bleach.

Size small will fit young children (5 years old and older) and small adults. For children approximately age 5 and under, elastic bands may need to be tied in order to ensure a tight fit. Size large fits most adults.
