No, this is not sturdy enough for adults to truly play.  This product runs anywhere from 35 to 70.00 (likely on sale near Christmas), and is intended for younger children.  It will not last long if played by adults (unless they are VERY gentle), and will have an even shorter life if played by teens.  Most people, from pre-teens &amp; up, generally &quot;get into&quot; a good game of air hockey.  It can be pretty competitive.  The assembly instructions tell you to have two adults turn the table over onto its legs once they are installed.  They are very direct about this.  The reason is the particle board table / frame, etc. cannot handle the strain of the angle pressure on the legs if one simply tiltst up onto two legs when turning it over.  Like anything built for home assembly, if you foul a bolt, screw or nail install intended for a very specific location, you&#39;ll need to return it for another.  It&#39;s not bad for its intended use when on sale for less than 50.00, and I understand MD Sports has great customer service if needed.  I am returning the one I purchased because there was amissing leg bolt and, a missing bolt prong assembly.  I&#39;m sure that is not the name of the part but it isthe metal casing you insert into a hole drilled into the wood rhat the leg bolts screw into.  It has very sharp prong points that you hammer into the wood so it will grip.  The inside of this metal may have threads.

I would highly recommend this it is very fun my children love it they play for hours it is worth the money.

We gave this to my 5 year old for his birthday and he loves it. Our 9 year old thought it must have cost at least $100 but the clearance price of $29 is unbelievable. They love it. My son got up better than any other school day, and got dressed early so he could play before he left for school. Great, great toy! We all love it.

This will be my kids secret Christmas gift this year. I have not opened this game up, trying to wait until Christmas day. I was planning to buy this off line today, 12/12/14 unfortunately the price went way up online to $42.58 however, I was able to purchase it at $29.99 from my local Walmart.

Bought this online for a Christmas present. It was on sale for a steal price of $30. Wrapped the gift and delivered it to my nephews on Christmas Eve, they were so excited and couldn't wait to open the big box. They opened it Christmas morning and by the time my husband and I went to visit on Christmas Day their father had put it together and the score piece had already broken. My husband tried fixing it but the plastic had broken apart from the screw. Cheap plastic but its expected with an item thats offered at such a low price. I still rate it 4 stars because you cant beat the price and it gets the job done. It throws out the air, the air guides the puck, and you can score. The kids enjoyed it so much and wanted to keep playing all day long.
