We really like the Roku. It turns our TVs into Smart TVs and allows us to watch Netflix, Amazon and any other apps we have. This gives us the ability to stream shows and movies with a touch of a button. We highly recommend it for your steaming needs! We also love that is has the Roku Channel.

During thanksgiving week, I ordered a Roku basic set up for my older flatscreen. Easy to set up to tv, exactly as advertised and my favorite part about this purchase was the price. I spent under $20 including same day delivery thanks to Walmart Plus subscription and the Black Friday pre sale (only for Walmart plus customers)

Absolutely love this product and loved the price!

This is a very small version of my larger Roku’s. I was replacing a Roku 3 with many many hours on it. The higher quality AND much higher price of the 3 may be the reason I am disappointed.  This is a ‘special’ Roku manufactured for Walmart and thus stripped down. The remote is similar to my other one but no microphone and no on/off button. It’s pretty lightweight. This little version was more challenging to finally get to load and work. Once it was installed it went through 100 updates. Not joking. 100 (about 25 min). This baby Roku seems to have a close picture quality to my old Roku 3 but it has to ‘load’ every ‘channel’ application you’ve already got downloaded EVERY TIME you watch it. My other Rokus just immediately go to say Hulu home Page instantly. Not this little baby. It’s only about 5-10 seconds but when you’re used to instant. After installation it’s slow but really worth the $18 versus $69 that I paid for the 3. Overall, if you can’t afford a better more expensive Roku then this is definitely worth the price but don’t expect allot of extras. Honestly reminds me of buying a no options base model car with no air, manual windows, etc. versus one with power seats, heated seats, gps, etc.

The Buyer...

The roku remote for this model has no power button... nor the volume up or 
volume down buttons.   So you will have to use roku remote and your tv
remote together....  Also no mute button either.  got it for 19.88. has no way to expand storage other than what is already available on it.  So far roku 
Ultra LT has microSD slot.  roku Ultra has a USB port.

Remote is very lacking ... You are warned

I wish I hadn’t impulse bought this thinking oh what a deal. I love Roku. I have multiple sticks and Roku tv’s. But this is the first one that didn’t have volume buttons or tv power. Now I have to use 2 remotes for this tv. Luckily it was just for a spare tv so I don’t feel like going through a return but still. Get a different one. The power and volume buttons are a necessity.  Plus who actually uses Discovery. Talk about a useless button.

Purchased  several roku and never had this particular problem. Yes it's simple to install until going online and entering the code. After customer service call you back to complete activation they are now insisting that you purchase roku tv for $79.00. My roku was totally activated and within 6 minutes a screen popped up saying guest pay $79.00. I  called customer service several times and they kept offering me roku tv for 79.00 which at one point a supervisor told me that's the only way my tv would work is to pay $ 79.00. Some how the original associate I spoke with on first setup called me back. He walk me through a factory reset and was assuring me he would get my roku working. Well he said that I would have to pay for technical support because this is a technical issue. After 2 hours I hung up on them this time. I am taking this piece of crap back to Walmart and I hope Walmart pull this product off the self. Walmart I know yall can make this happen this is a bad product with poor customer service. I'm adding photos so yall can see this was trying to extort $79.00 and high jacked my tv.

This mini player was a big disappointment. It looked nice when i stuck it to the bottom of my TV but that's the only good part. The channels do not seem to work well with this player. The videos freeze up, the ads play in loops, and sometimes the Roku will not respond to the TV. i thought maybe it was my internet connection but after trying three providers in different locations and experiencing the same thing i see it's the Roku. Spend a little bit more and get the bigger one.

We have had Roku a long time. Well our remote started going out sooo you can't buy a replacement remote if it's note a Roku tv supposedly. Very dumb anyways I thought okay we will update and get whole new system. We get the thing a d there is no volume bottom on this new one. I am sorry what ?? Why not have it makes no sense to need two remotes !! Roku do better !!!
