The postpartum period is commonly defined as the time from birth up to 6 months post-birth. We recommend Essential Postnatal to women for 6 months after giving birth or for as long as they plan to breastfeed or pump.*
Yes. We recommend Essential Postnatal to all women postpartum for 6 months, regardless of whether they are lactating or not.
Essential Postnatal is formulated with Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Zinc, which aren’t in Essential Prenatal. It’s also aligned with the lower Recommended Daily Allowance for Iron in lactating women with 8mg, as well as their higher Recommended Daily Allowance of 200 mcg of Iodine per serving. Lastly, Essential Postnatal is formulated with 10 mg of Vitamin E and 10 mcg of Vitamin B12 per serving.*

I like the product and appreciate the wholesome ingredients. Only downside is I see you can now get at target for same price. I feel like if you are a loyal customer on auto renewal you should get a discount or incentive to stay.

I started with Ritual’s prenatal because it was the only one I could swallow and keep down. I was so excited when they released the postnatal and I can tell that it has more of what I need as a nursing mom. It’s helped with my milk supply and given me more energy. I’m hooked now!
