The shipment was delayed was only thing that went wrong.. I love the wide screen and it has "last memory" so it picks up where you left off on a movie.. I read a review saying that you can't watch a movie while you are charging which is not true. I love this portable DVD player. And would but it again.

One Step Above excellent

I have tried many other portable DVD players and researched many more, reading reviews.  I paid alot for this because the negative reviews were like: "It's too light; it must be cheap" or "My kid dropped it and broke it".  I don't plan to drop it and so far it's great.  The sound, which alot of reviews mention is low for other products, is fine.  I haven't use the maximum yet.  It does get warm, so I prop up one end on a sock so air can circulate.

You get what you pay for.

Had it up and running within minutes, despite the instructions not being the greatest (small type, confusing). The sound quality is decent (easily adjustable) and the size of the screen makes for a good viewing experience. Nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy a DVD without being stuck inside by the TV.  I have not tried hooking it up to the TV yet, but that's an option.

The other day, my laptop's DVD player suddenly had an issue; it wouldn't play any DVD I put in it. As I just moved and am still pretty much living out of boxes (and I can't locate the box with my TV/DVD player), I bought this player.

It has a two-delivery, so it arrived in no time at all, which was great. I bought it on the fifth and was watching movies by the seventh.

When it came, I opened the box right away, surprised to find how big it was, and I like that it's a large screen. I took the time to read the directions and get familiar with the device, and I've been using it for the last week.

I have no complaints to make—sans one: The spinning of the disc inside is rather noisy. But it's not something that takes away from my viewing. Otherwise, it's a great device. Simple to use and understand. A remote control (you'll need to supply AAA batteries). Earplugs (but I also use my own earphones without any trouble). It swivels, which is a nice feature, though I don't really need it right now—it's nice to know the option's there if needed.

Oh, one feature that may surprise you (it certainly did me), and that's this: It is LOUD! Honest. I put in a DVD and pushed play and—KABOOM! The movie was practically blasting me out of my room! The volume level goes up to 20, but I usually have it at half level or lower. It's REALLY loud! (Actually, that's a great selling feature because you can have a good movie-going experience with this portable device.)

This was my first experience with portable players, and I'm pleased with what I bought. So I do recommend this is you're looking for a portable DVD player with a nice-sized screen.

A Good Buy

Functioning is just fine, including ability to pick up where stopped and so on. However, the picture seems like you're viewing it at an angle, no matter what angle you use. It's just not quite right.  I can live with it, but I'm beginning to wonder if any of the DVD players are any good.

DVD player is just ok

This DVD player is JUNK! Stay Away! Only 5 months old and it  Skips video and audio is all scratchy. When the volume up button is presssws it stops the video and starts all over . Walmart will not honor warranty and neither will add on protection plan from Allstate

This DVD Player is Junk

Currently trying to get sound to work. First it didn't want to turn on after light green and sound will not work. So far feel like this was a bad purchase
