These are wonderful, they don't hurt my ears at all, and I can feel safe on my runs being able to hear my surroundings!
Also, can we talk about the battery life?! It's perfect for my long runs and holds a charge for 8+ hours, easy!

My new favorite headphones!

Shokz

These are great headphones for a specific purpose: listening to something while being able hearing your surroundings. The sound is not the best-- there are plenty of isolating headphones that specialize in good sound will give you that result. But the Shokz is good enough for casual listening and excellent for working out. They are extremely light, and I have played music at a reasonable volume and was able to hear things when I needed: people, traffic, etc. I also have a nice over-the-ear ANC that I use for work and concentration, while these are better for around-the-house and working out. While the Shokz are great at delivering their tech, the app leaves a lot to be desired. I hope to see improvements in the app over the next few years to give more options for sound optimization in different settings.

Great headphones for awareness

Love it. Had one for four years. Just got a new one and it is better. Has more upgrades. Like the new charging cable too. Use it biking and feel safer as I listen to tines. Son and I used it in the ElTour bike race this week. I am 80 and we road the 102 mile event.

This is my second pair and there have been improvements since I got my first pair 5  years ago. It was very easy to pair with the Bluetooth of my phone. The battery run time was well over 8 hours. The sound was really good. I can still hear equipment, machines, and alarms near me while enjoying my music. My supervisors dont have to yell at me to get my attention when they need to talk with me. I also don't annoy coworkers with music they don't like since they can't hear it. Shokz for the win!
