What is “LUX”?

LUX slings are made from an all NEW luminous fabric that is as comfortable & supportive out of the water as it is in. This luxurious sling is lightweight, moisture-wicking, and includes sun protection for baby’s delicate skin, yet it’s still made from durable 100% polyester like our other fabrics.

LUX slings are machine washable, resist stains & won’t fade or bleed.

LUX slings are available in 4 colors with 2 ring options, and each has a pocket on the tail with a snap closure.

Holds babies from 8-35lbs in & out of the water.

Hibiscus is a bright orangey red & has a UPF rating of 20, meaning it protects from about 96% of UVA & UVB rays.

A clean finish hem (no visible serging), gathered shoulder and a snap close pocket make this sling our most beautiful and user-friendly yet! Machine wash in warm water on delicate, and hang to dry or run through the dryer on low/knits.

Each sling style carrier comes with an instruction booklet to guide you in wearing your baby safely & comfortably, from birth up to 35lbs.

Beachfront Baby Slings conform to ASTM F2907-15 meaning they have passed mandatory safety testing.

We use only SlingRings™ brand aluminum rings in the production of our LUX Sling. These rings are made of anodized aluminum which increases their resistance to corrosion & have been tested and approved by the manufacturer for use in chlorinated water. We recommend rinsing the sling & rings with tap water after wearing in salt water or chlorinated water. Each individual ring is pull tested to 250 pounds, is RoHS compliant, lab-verified heavy metal and toxin free & they are smooth & safe for babies to chew on. The rings are sewn into the shoulder of each sling using high quality polyester thread. We sew 3 separate seams with backstitching on the end of each of the 3 seams. This means that in the unlikely event that one seam were to come undone, it would not affect the performance of the other 2 seams and your baby would remain safely in their sling.

Each of our carriers include a safety & warning label with pictograms demonstrating safe versus unsafe positioning so there is always a visual reminder to the wearer of the carrier to keep baby safe.

Please use care & common sense when taking your baby out in the sun or water. Don’t do anything with your baby in the sling that you wouldn’t do with him/her in your arms. By purchasing a Beachfront Baby® Wrap Carrier, you agree to release Beachfront Baby, LLC & it’s members, employees and/or retailers from any & all liability for any injury which might result from the use of our sling. The wearer is responsible for using the sling safely & correctly.

Due to variations in monitors as well as slight variations in dye lots, some colors may look different in person than they do in our photos. This weave of fabric is silk-like in that it can have a few slubs in the sling. These are just normal variations and not a defect in your sling. 

One size slings fit most adults who wear a size S, M or L shirt slings. XL slings fit those who wear size L, 2XL, or 3XL shirt.

If you wear your sling in chlorinated or salt water, simply rinse it with tap water afterwards and this will help prolong the life of both the fabric & rings.

International packages ship via USPS First Class mail or Priority Mail. We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit. If you are concerned about your postal service, please ask about insurance or Global Express shipping with tracking.
Priority Mail International will usually take just under 2 weeks to arrive anywhere in the world. I *highly* recommend upgrading shipping even if we ship First Class to your country. First class International does not include insurance and can take up to 2 months to arrive to some locations. International buyers, please be aware that you are responsible for any customs fees your country might charge.
