Easy clean bin with heap filter! Works better than my other robotic vac. It's nice to see if it gets stuck somewhere or where it is in the cleaning process with a report on your phone. I have my schedule so that every other day it automatically does what it needs to do. Once it learns the pattern of your house a few times I find the coverage is very good. Rather than randomly going around and missing spots it makes an outline of your footprint and then goes back-and-forth covering everything. Even goes under the raised dog dish and goes left and right without spilling the water! So far no issues with picking up dog hair. Only thing is I have a couple of pieces of furniture that are an odd height and the light sensor on top has gotten stuck so now I put the virtual barriers up and no more issues!

Wyze Robot Vac... what's not to love!

I recently added a second robotic vacuum to our house, one for each floor. Having two cats, a large dog, and 2 kids still at home, I needed help to keep this house clean. These were purchased to rplace Rhoombas that just bounced around without mapping the rooms. The addition of a dog was the tipping point for us, the Rhoombas didn't pick up his dog hair. I decided to try the Wyze vaccim and it has exceeded my expectations.  I rarely if ever pull out my traditional vaccum. It works so well that  I purchased a second one. I run both of them every day.  That is probably overkill,  but I like a clean house! 

I have heard complaints about the size of the bin. It is only slightly smaller than the Rhoomba bin, but the suction is stronger. If I forget to empty the bin each day, it will continue to pack the dirt and  dog hair in there.

Keeps Pet Hair Under Control

I am really happy with this buy. This is my second robot vacuum and it took it to the next level. The mapping system is really well done as well as the vacuum route. At full suction it last for 75 minutes and cleans a lot of square footage. No need for magnetic strips because with the app you can add virtual walls. It has a built in mini brush and it is super easy to clean the bin. It is quite and does not bump into anything. It has map memory and can detect and update to your liking. I haven't had any issues and it is far superior then my previous robot vacuum. The app has timers built for reminding you to replace parts and you can order them straight from the app. My favorite part is how it shows you where it has been and the mapping system of you floor layouts. Wyze thanks again for a great product!

Saves you time and does the job right!

The Wyze Robotic Vacuum is my first experience with such a device. I have known of their existence for years but never thought they were right for me. I was somewhat hesitant about making this purchase for the same reasons. Those reasons were questioning whether if it would do a good job cleaning and navigating through my house. I have been pleasantly surprised in that the Wyze Robot vacuum does that and more. It cleans better than I imagined by its ability to get around and under chairs and tables. Things that I would not be able to do with any type of canister, wand or upright vacuum. I like being able to make a cleaning schedule. The machine makes an accurate map of my rooms and goes about its job quietly and efficiently.  I run it at 2 a.m with my bedroom door close and it has never awaken me. I awake with clean carpets and floors.  I found it easy to set up and the app very good. I would like to see spot cleaning as a option. Other than that, I have found my purchase a good value and a 'Wyze' choice.

'Wyze' Choice

I do love wyze products and I love the continual updates they're making to my vacuum. She still doesn't stick to the map and every night it's like she forgets the old map and starts making a new one. She also doesn't avoid the firewalls so every night I have to pick her up from the same spots over and over. I'm hopeful she gets more intuitive with time.

Rosie the Robot Vacuum

Pros: 
- It cleans very well
- Excellent mapping 
- The ability to select just the rooms you want cleaned for spot cleaning is excellent
- Relatively quick charging
- Notifications and info from app are helpful

Cons:
- Setup was…. Not the best to say the least
- When adding “virtual walls” it's either vertical or horizontal; they cannot be rotated at all (very annoying)

Overall, I feel this is the best “bang for your buck” with robot vacuums.  Our old roomba was awful, cleaned in very obscure patterns. More or less, it went forward until it made contact with something then turned and repeated over, and over, and over again until it would die in the middle of the room.

Honest review from a Wyze fanatic

Vacuum works great. One improvement I would add is it leaves black marks on the base board. Maybe a different type of material around the edges of the machine.

Suggested improvement

Hardware and firmware operation seem pretty robust. The app however, the simplest thing to improve, is frustrating and just quite awful. (Top Two List)
1) the inability to simply define a room by setting my own vertices is extremely frustrating and leads to other functional issues.

2) the inane choice to not include the most wide spread home assistant by far, and the one that  works the smoothest by far, Google Home / assistant. Is there a kickback from Amazon or something? Why would any self respecting company do this? It's obsurd at this point!

app inhales (hardware should suck, not the app)

It's a decent first version.  I have had to reset it a couple times since it arrived a month ago.  From one day to the next I'm not really sure where it will go and whether it will make it back to the charging dock.  Several times I've found it just going back and forth in a small area.  Maybe 70% of the time it will perform a uniform, mapped, cleaning of the approximately 500 sq.ft. area.  Suction seems good and strong.  Emptying the collection tray is fairly easy but opening the tray the first few times is not intuitive.

Okay First Version -- Needs Improvement

The vacuum cannot effectively map my house.  The map show a virtual room extending into my backyard and atrium. The vacuum tries to navigate through these areas, sometimes running out of battery in the process.  About every one out of ten times it vacuums, it loses it way back to the charging station.
