Good little standby for chilly mornings.
Good item for throwing out the heat. The glow/light is a bit annoying, but the heat does make up for that. Only use it first thing in the morning to take the chill off the room. Portable Oscillating Halogen Heater
There is a product advertised on TV which uses carbon bulb technology (whatever that is) to heat you and not the air around you. That product is bulky and certainly not portable. This heater on the other hand is portable and when set at the correct distance can warm both myself and my wife using the oscillating function. If there is a downside it shines a bright light in use which requires a different posture when watching TV.
