How do you recommend cleaning gel polish off of the brushes?
- Asked by Kk
- Official Answer By Red Carpet Manicure - Brand EngageHello! We recommend a cleanser (an acetone-based product or alcohol). Red Carpet Manicure has a product called “Purify Pre & Post Application Cleanser” that works well with cleaning brushes without damaging the brush bristlesWas this answer helpful to you

Great start
For my first set of manicure brushes and tools, this is great!! The cleanup brush did come apart, the metal sleeve with the bristles came off, but I glued it back on, no problem! I'm very happy with the set, although I have not used all of the items in the set as of yet. I am not sure I will use the...

Nice, but hard to clean.
I went into ULTA to buy a good striping brush. Unfortunately this was the only thing they had. I didn't want to go home empty handed so I bought the set. I think the brushes are okay. The dotting tool is awesome but the striping brush takes a while to get used to because it feathers out. The other b...

Careful with the acetone!
As other reviews have said, the brushes work well enough, but if you get any acetone on the handle the black coating comes off and smears everywhere.

My nails are going to look beautiful
I am waiting for my nails to grow out or fake nails to paint my nail polish On . I don't have any nails right now because my nails are too short or broke.
waste of time
These are so hard to clean. the designs looked cute, but the brushes broke apart, so I instantly returned it and used some paintbrushes and a dotting tool that I already had, and it worked better.
Bought this 5 years ago, still using today!
At first I was put off by the fact these brushes don't have caps, but I needed art brushes when I started my nail career and didn't have a lot of money to spend on them. They absolutely got the job done! I still reach for some of them today over some of my other more expensive art brushes. I have only ever cleaned them with acetone and the bristles are not breaking, melting or severely shedding or anything else. Yes, the handles are wooden on all but 1, so that means they're painted. If you have a brain in your head then you know what acetone/nail polish remover/gel remover does to paint/wood finish/varnish. For those concerned about the fraying other reviews mentioned, that happens with all nail art brushes if you clean them with acetone. Just put a drop of cuticle oil on the bristles after you clean it, pinch the bristles in a lint free wipe to remove the excess oil, this will keep them conditioned. It's fine I promise! Be sure to dip it in acetone again to remove the oil before use! More info: I have been using these brushes with both gel and regular nail polish.

Not worth it
Sadly disappointed. Brushes don't grab any product. Waste of time.
