At first I was disappointed because I had read reviews about getting returned packages from previous customers. This one was returned. The screws were just thrown in there. The second thing I realized is why they returned it. I got 2 left pieces and also realized 2 holes did not match up exactly. The metal racks were a little scratched up. Let's just say it wasn't perfect. I was determined to make this work. I put the pieces together and made them all sturdy. I have to say when all out together it looks so nice. I have 4 kids I'm using it for and figured a few scuffs on the racks won't make a difference because they will eventually just happen anyways. I am completely happy with my purchase and I love the way it makes my walk in area seem more organized. Previously I had an accordion rack on the wall that I made many holes with and a laundry basket full of shoes. If you're skeptical, don't be this is a great addition to any small space!

    It comes exactly as described. The material is what you'd expect. It was very easy to set up - I did it all myself in around half an hour. It looks great in my entryway and provides all the storage I was looking for (I have way too many shoes).. Definitely needs to be screwed into the wall for stability. I wish it didn't because I'm renting and I'll have to fix the hole later - but it won't be a hard fix and it's worth it to have this piece in my house.

    Once I got into it putting it together was a snap but my first mistake was actually trying to follow the instructions.... There are basically are no instructions ...It's simply a sheet of what's included in the box so pretty much throw that away and use some common sense because that's all you're going to have anyway. I even tried looking up on YouTube but nobody posted a how-to video.. But all that aside once you do get the thing together it is seriously very sturdy holds a lot You're going to love it.

    I bought this to place next to a pellet stove in my entry way so it needed to be all metal to prevent heat damage. It looks great, doesn't take up too much floor or air space (meaning it doesn't block out light or make the area seem smaller). It's fairly sturdy, but I cannot see someone sitting on the shelves, and we all know someone will. I like the adjustable feet and used them to cant it slightly so it's less likely to tip when filled up (mine isn't against a wall). With all of that, it will be fine for my occasional use when I have guests. I do not think it would stand up to the daily use of a family.
    Some nitpicks: The screws don't line up easily and you have to muscle some of them; The side arms aren't opposite, meaning the holes aren't set like a mirror; The screws are obvious and would be better if they were color matched; The rubber tips on the hook portion come off easily and will likely need to be glued; the instructions are vague and poorly written; the end caps at the top pop out easily, especially when attaching the cross bar; it came very dirty in the box, and had to be cleaned first (a very strong dust/soot) & the screws were loose inside. The coating seems to be very good, and it suits my needs, but this was a $34.99 value.

    I have a small online vintage shop. This piece is great for hanging up hats and purses. And the shelves hold a lot of items, as most of the items in my shop are small.     Makes a great added storage unit! Great value for the price. One of my side screws wouldn't go in all the way and a tightening tool was not included for tightening the screws (small hex.) Also, the rubber tips don't stay on the ends of the hooks, but could be glued to stay. All in all, glad to have purchased and tidies up my corner!
