I read all the info and am still puzzled.  How does this product attach to an internet connection that uses a telephone line?

Is it possible to watch YouTube through this set-top box?  And stream music and movies from iPhone from third-party applications?

I  69 years old. I didnt have any trouble setting the Roku express up. I have used Dish for many years but they keep charging more. Im on Social Security so my income is not increasing. I asked relatives what options I have. They recommended getting a Roku. My 10 yr. old grandson stays with me a lot. He can find something appropriate to watch. I have already purchased another Roku online that was on sell for a bedroom so he can watch what he wants.

This Roku Express 4K is great and simple to use.

The best no-contract Roku Express 4K device and I can do a Smart View on my compatible Android and it's very easy to use without cable and satellite.

I can watch TV, listen to music, play games, etc.

It was super easy to follow the directions. In connection. There are fewer free channels than I was expecting. Nearly everything I've tried to look at requires a subscription. 
Note: the 9v battery is wrapped in cellophane but it's no toon iOS. So when you open the remote to check the battery is there take the cellophane off and snap in the battery.

It's all good

We really like the Roku. It turns our TVs into Smart TVs and allows us to watch Netflix, Amazon and any other apps we have. This gives us the ability to stream shows and movies with a touch of a button. We highly recommend it for your steaming needs! We also love that is has the Roku Channel.

I have a Samsung 4K  smart  tv but couldnt get some of the channels I wanted so moved an older Roku which did t have the steaming capacity I needed fir 4K. This one solved the connectivity and lag issues but also provides channels Samsung doesnt  or with which Samsung has issues  - Discovery   is the main one.

These have better buffering than most tv sets, especially for live sports events.

I have a new Roku tv I bought and put it in my bedroom. I bought this for my older smart tv.   Set up was fast and simple. Up and running in about 10 minutes. A lot of channels to choose from. More than I expected. Some of the shows are dated but considering I have been using an indoor antenna for many years now I won’t complain. Cable and satellite tv services are ridiculously expensive; this is an easy answer. My antenna still serves me well but this is great too. Highly recommend.

when I received and opened the box up, my roku. remote was missing the front tip and the tag at the end of the remote seemed to be shredded. I literally just bought it. I had already unwrapped and plugged in the roku box to my TV. And now I'm stuck. I can't control it with the remote
