The Clarifying Mask targets blemished skin and was developed to restore balance, improves the skin’s protective barrier as well as deeply hydrate and reduce breakouts.
Formulated to prevent blemishes and hormonal breakouts by balancing and absorbing excess sebum, gently but efficiently clear impurities and refine pores and skin texture for a nourished, hydrates and smooth finish, this Clarifying Mask is a must-have in your purifying skin care routine. Laced with zinc, kaolin and lentil extract, this refines pores, controls sebum production and mattifies while counteracting future breakouts. Not only does this hero absorb and balance the complexion, it also intensely hydrates, smoothing and plumping up fine lines and wrinkles. Infused with balloon vine, viper’s bugloss and sunflower oil extract, with continued use this will balance the complexion, reduce the number of breakouts and treat existing blemishes too.
Apply generously to cleansed skin two to three times a week as an additional treatment. After approx. 10-15 minutes, remove the mask with lukewarm water. Then apply the Clarifying Face Cream.

Cannot recommend enough. Worth the price tag, is a facial in a tub. My skin is hydrated and glowing for days after use. It also helps keep my  perioral dermatitis in checkÂ

Expensive but...
I received a large sample in a previous Cult Beauty goody bag. I have had tiny pimples on the tip of my nose for years now and have never been able to get rid of them. I have used it three times now and also put a small amount on the tip of my nose overnight a couple of times and the difference is really noticeable. Alas the sample is now finished and as much as I don't want to spend this much on a face mask, I am biting the bullet.

Maybe it is me
Ok, to be fair it says it absorbs excess sebum, which I don’t have. But since it was another generous Cult bag gift I decided to try it around my period, when a few pimples always show here and there. 1 minute after applying it started itching a bit, it did not give me a bad reaction, but it stripped my skin just a bit each time. The thing is… my skin indeed looked glowy and even after use, but the experience and smell were not my favourite. It gives good results, it is just overpriced.

Best face mask
This face mask has really made a difference to my skin. I have an oily t zone with a few blackheads on my chin and nose. I sometimes break out more so since wearing a mask regularly. The formula is really creamy and a little goes a long way. The pot will last a good 9 months (twice a week). My skin has been really clear and glowy since using this and the enzyme cleanser. Worth the money. Doesn’t dry it out either.

On my third pot
I never want to be without this face mask. It really helps keep my skin clear and calm. You can even put some on top of a spot overnight to help it heal more quickly. The glass pot is lovely too.

Feels like a Spa treatment
I love the feeling on my face after this mask! it's just so clean, usually, I'm doing it once a week in the weekend and I can feel an immediate change, especially for combo/oily skin type.
