I bought this for my large black cat who I have had to banish to the back porch because of her propensity to urinate everywhere in my house.  I needed something to give her some vertical height over her new domain.  When I was assembling this unit, I noticed that the vertical space between the curved second level and the edge of the rectangular platform above that is only a few inches deep.  My big cat cannot jump straight up from the curved level up to the third level.  I fear that she will not use and enjoy this cat condo, and that I have wasted my money.  In addition, the whole thing is rather rickety, and I screwed all the posts in and tightened the bolts as tight as I could without stripping them out. Particularly rickety is the bed at the very top.  I thought my cat was going to tip the whole thing over!  I think this entire unit needs a re-design.  Make the bottom platform larger, so as to provide more stability for the entire unit, and re-think that third platform.  Maybe it could be trapezoidal shaped and moved to the rear to connect with the post coming from the curved box.  I hate to say it, but I cannot recommend this cat condo to people with large or overweight cats.  I can see it for kittens only.  But kittens grow up....
