About

WELCOME TO MUSICAL COMEDY HEAVEN!

Featuring one of the most iconic scores of all time by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, an updated book from Harvey Fierstein based on the original classic by Isobel Lennart, tap choreography by Ayodele Casel, choreography by Ellenore Scott, and direction from Michael Mayer, this love letter to the theatre has the whole shebang!

The sensational Broadway revival dazzles with celebrated classic songs, including "Don't Rain On My Parade," "I'm the Greatest Star," and "People." This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she'd never be a star, but then something funny happened--she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

If you can only go to one show, go to this one

    by Ana on 3/31/24

The entire cast is just amazing. Leah Michele is from another planet. In all my years going to broadway I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed and overwhelmed by talent. Extremely well done.

    Beyond Incredible!

by Claudia on 10/11/23Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Katerina McCrimmon was way beyond PHENOMENAL!!!!! I had never heard of her before the show, let alone hear her sing, but I will never forget her name now! Her voice transcends logic! Her range, tone, precision, and beauty are unlike anything I have ever heard, including Barbra Streisand. I’m dead serious! I would encourage anybody who likes musical theater to see this performance. It is pure magic!

    So-so

by Lars on 10/11/23Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Play was mostly well-done, but I didn’t find the story line very interesting. Female lead Katerina has a string and well-trained voice, but her voice quality is not that pleasing. Not Barbra Streisand.

    Good and Sometimes Great

by showgirl on 10/10/23Fisher Theatre - Detroit

The show was very entertaining. The lead playing Fanny Brice had a phenomenal singing voice. Unfortunately, when she was speaking I (and several in my group) couldn't understand her dialogue. So, bottom line when she was belting out a tune the show was great-the acting side of it was just good. Worth seeing though.
