Ruthie Foster Tickets

So amazing to see such a quality performance with someone like Ruthie Foster here in Portsmouth.

My first time seeing Ruthie Foster at Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club in Portsmouth, NH. Tremendous show! Ruthie performed beyond expectations. Her band was top notch. If you get the chance to see her, don't miss it!

Mrs Foster and her talents are/were on full display but her band, well. It does not give me pleasure in saying this but her band is not in the same league as Mrs Foster. As for the concert and selection of songs some to me really stood out and a few felt more like fill in's but overall to see and hear Mrs foster was an evening of pure pleasure. SONY HALL was great, service, food, keep up the great service and NYC will be better for it!!!!!

Ruthie Foster is an amazing singer who loves what she does, connects with the audience, and can hold a note out to infinity. Her Phenomenal Woman made me cry. She also made me laugh and want to dance. Smooth jazzy, bluesy, country-ish gospel. Can't wait to see her again.

ruthie foster brings ease and joy to her performance. she is talented, friendly, soulful, and down-to-earth, as are her accompanying musicians. they all smile as they play, loving what they do, passing along their passion to us in the audience. superb!

Opening Act - Narissa Bond (sp) was wonderful - mellow voice, engaging lyrics and short stories, great accompaniment; set the stage for Ruthie. Ruthie - WOW! Personable, witty, engaging and a beautiful voice - especially when singing without music - that's when you can tell if someone can really sing, and she can!
