I needed to extend some wired ethernet ports to some IOT devices.  I used an RT-AX56U setup as a mesh node to do this.  Setup was a snap, performace A1

Both bands, 2.4 and 5, are noticeably faster than my previous N300 router.  And I am only running old client devices that do not yet use wifi6 protocols.  On the 5GHz band, my tablet sometimes gets 200Mbps, which is excellent at my house.  The web app user interface makes it easy to administer the parameters.  So I am satisfied with my new router.  My tablet and 5GHz connection goes through gypsum walls with no difficulties.  I have great connectivity throughout my whole 1500 sq. ft. house.
