What a perfect teacher gift and a great way to hold all those loose pencils and pens on a teacher's desk! It measures 2 3/8" tall x 8" long x 1.25" thick which is a perfect size for those overcrowded desk. We start with solid pine wood (not MDF) and paint this piece in any color combination of your choice. It is 100% painted with no vinyl used in the finished product.

All signs are offered with a regular finish, sanded edges finish or distressed finish. A regular finish has no paint missing from the finished product, the sanded edges has no paint on any edge of the piece with a regular clean look for the design/lettering. The distressed finish hand distressed and is missing paint in different areas all over the piece including the lettering. The regular finish is shown in the picture. Please make sure to read the description of each finish along with visiting the link provided above before making your selection. All finishes are AFTER the painting is done. All pieces are sanded prior to painted. If you choose anything other than the regular finish you will have paint missing on parts of your piece.******

We use real wood in the production of these items therefore there will be knots and other naturally occurring imperfections in the new wood. If you choose new wood and your item has a knot in it we will not replace it. A knot is a naturally occurring thing in nature and we cannot control where the knot falls in the piece or if it is there. It is part of the beauty of the wood.

You may now select if you want the back painted of your piece for a more complete look when sitting on a desk. If you choose 2 sides painted the back side will be painted to match the front with no name on the back. There is an additional charge for this.

The default color is yellow pencil, pink eraser and black lettering. If you would like another color such as school colors send us a message in the notes to seller section with the following:

****If no color is specified you will be sent a yellow pencil with black lettering.****
