My normal shoe size is 8 1/2 which is the size I bought in the boots and they fit true to size the width was good and they fit my calf. The only downside for me is I was hoping they would be a more distressed look. Overall very happy with the boots

These were pretty boots but too tall for me. I’m 5’3 and these were taller than I’d like (came to upper calf area). I have other Ariats that are 4-5 years old, and I love them so I was hoping I would love all of their boots… unfortunately that’s not the case. I also have large calves, as I played soccer my whole life, and my original Ariats are no problem on my calves whatsoever… like they’re really roomy. However, this pair, despite being labeled for larger calves were nowhere near as roomy. They did fit but were a tighter fit (as in they hug my calves) whereas my first pair had a huge gap, fit loosely, and it wasn’t even close. If you’re taller or like a taller boot, these are really nice boots and will work well for you. Sadly, they just aren’t the right fit/height for me.

I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes and boots. Ordered these in an 8, but I'll have to send them back. The color and quality are nice enough, but the arch / space across the top of the foot is too tight. (I don't have particularly high arches.) The regular width and wide calf both work even though my calves measure 15.5" at the widest point but the footbed isn't quite deep enough. There's also quite a bit of extra room in the toe, but there's hardly any heel slip.

I recently purchased a pair of these boots and already cant wait to wear them again!! These boots are incredibly comfortable, making them perfect for long days, or even fun concerts.
