You will forget about it completely! Finally, a tightening system at the hem of the leg means you can pull up the bottom of your pants if you are too hot. If your a man with big quads (& glutes) - & shorter legs, then the women's version on the MH500 Mountain Walking Trousers is an ideal alternative to the men's version.
I've owned a pair of the men's trousers for 3 years & have worn them for weekly mountain walks/scrambles & speed hiking in the UK, in addition to DIY & (TIG) welding & these trousers are fantastic - super durable, comfortable & lightweight (you can't really feel you're wearing them). Don't hesitate to buy.
My only gripe is that the older version had better pockets - more practical & better arrangement.

I selected this trousers for the first time and was really helpful, comfortable even to use in winter treks.in same fitting if I would have got detachment option would have appreciated. I tried detachable pant option in similar category but fitting was not similar and I dropped my plan.
