Rated 5 out of 5 by from after a year I am still excited to use it I bought the Pro S-series in white last year for fathers day. I have used it weekly and usually multiple times a week rain or shine, hot weather, cold it does not matter. Make sure you buy the lava stone and hanger so you can cook over indirect heat, I have smoked jerky, ribs, and pork butt. Grilling is great! direct or indirect heat and any meat tastes better over charcoal. I have made pizza at 600 degrees and you cannot beat the flavour or the experience. It takes a while to know your grill and what combo of inlet and outlet settings to use but just takes some patience. I have had no issues in quality and coming up on a year. Making Pizza tonight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill, 1 design flaw Love the grill, haven't used my gas BBQ since I got it. Heats up in 20 minutes, not much longer than a gas BBQ. The removable ash tray is handy, but the design causes it to tilt and leave an air gap along the bottom edge. Easy fix with some thin weather stripping and the ceramic that low doesn't get too hot, so it stays on quite nicely. Once that was installed I could control the temp easily, without it I couldn't keep it below 300F. Considering it's at least $500 less than the competition, totally worth it. I can buy a lot of weather stripping for $500. Only problem is that you smell delicious for the rest of the day.

I've eaten some on my friend's self proclaimed "best ribs ever". Then I bought this Kamado grill. The first thing I did was a low-&-slow, smoke-cook for a rack of back-ribs. Truly, this was indeed the best rack of ribs I've ever had - first try too! Next was pizza; my first time making my own pizza and the results were just amazing. Then I smoked jerk chicken and pork - Honestly, better than Mitzi's! First try ever doing jerk! My wife and I were so proud of our results, that we hosted a backyard party and fed everyone off the grill. We swept everyone off their feet with Pizza and Ribs! We simply knocked it our of the park that day! Now, I did have a few small, non-critical issues with the grill, and contacted Vision's customer service in the US for help. As a Canadian customer, I figured it would likely be difficult to get the customer focus you would expect from a local company. On the contrary! The service they provided me was well above Canadian standard. Vision Customer Service responded immediately and addressed my issues swiftly and courteously! They even took the time to document a method to smoke a Turkey on the Vision Grill for me! This exceeds the expectations of customer service for sure. I can tell you that Vision stands by their Guarantees 100%, no questions asked. If you are a Canadian in the market for a Kamado grill, do yourself a favor and seriously consider this product. You cannot go wrong with the price, and the quality of your cooks, and the customer service. Legit 5 out of 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warranty and service This is my 3rd summer with this cooker and I am still happy with my purchase. Holds a 250 degree temperature for a slow cooked pulled pork or does a great roast chicken at 350. It takes time to learn how to control air flow to maintain a low slow temperature so read up on Kamado cooking... this grill will not disappoint. Above all I have received great service from the company. After 3 years the liner cracked (this is not uncommon with kamado grills) and I was sent a new one covered by warranty the same day as my phone call to customer service.

What kind of charcoal does this grill need?

Any type of lump charcoal. You would not want to use briquettes in this.

what accessories does this model come with?

It came with the inside grills and the protective cover. No other accessories were included, other that what is listed on the box. I highly recommend purchasing a deflector for a more even cooking when you don't want the food exposed to the open flame.

What is the difference between this model and the other model that is $200.00 less expensive, I can’t really see anything in the specifications.
