It a perfect addition to your Barbie beach scene.  It was a little difficult getting it put together trying to keep the cardboard front in the slot it needs to go into, but when it was all together it really goes well with your Barbies in their swim suits for the beach scene.

I think this shows kids and encourages them to recycle more. I have to say this set surprised me a lot as it was heavy duty made. Unlike other toys by Mattel that seem flimsy. This set was not. My 7 yr old is a huge barbie and accessory fan. This set has kept her busy for hours.

Great toy my daughter loves it !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beach snack shop is such a fun play set!  My daughter and her friend have really enjoyed playing with it. They really like the pineapple and coconut that open to reveal a drink inside.  Great accessories even a guitar for some strumming! The recycling can on the side is a big hit as well. She also likes to change the color combo on the stools. The shack itself has shelves in the back where you can put everything away while not playing. It has like lego circles on the bottom of things (drinks, trays) so they stay standing up and don't fall over.  Only bummer is no barbie included!

Great Play Value

This is a nice little playset, and much better quality than normal Barbie playsets these days.

I really liked this especially because it was less than 10 dollars. The recycling can opens, the drinks are fun, and smoothies are fun too. The only thing is the bar backdrop is paper so it's a little flimsy and the plastic bar stools bend a little (especially when my really little kids play with it). But overall I really like it and the Barbies do too!

Nice for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter likes that there are so many accessories/beverages included. She likes that you can put items in the recycling bin. She likes that the pineapple and coconut pieces can open up, so that it can be filled up with "juice". She likes that all of her Barbies and Barbie sets are compatible with this set. 

As a parent, I thought the assembly was a bit tricky with the shelves. I also would've preferred that the sign for the beach shack in front was a sticker, rather than being made out of bendable cardboard. I love, love, love that the playset is made from recycled plastics because we are big recyclers in our family. Also, the packaging for the toy was cardboard and recyclable paper, which is great to see!

Yummy Snack Shack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old loves it, but it came defective. One of the stools came with a miss end, and a duplicate of the other end. I end up using my glue gum to melt and expand the plastic of the duplicate pieces in other to use it as a replacement of the missing piece. Overall she love it as she use it a lot as part of her dolls village setup she put together for pretend play time in her room. My daughter said the she does not like that the ice cream was not soft serve looking as it implied on the box.

Fun, but came defective

This review is being done by an adult doll enthusiast and doll photographer. Let me begin by saying this set has to be put together so adult supervision is needed if buying for a child. Although it came with instructions do not throw the box away until finished so you can refer back to the box if you get stuck putting it together. The chairs are not the best. However I do adore this set once I put it together. For children there are many small piece accessories so have a baggy ready. The trash can that can be attached or not may be used with other projects for doll photographers and dioramas. The set was under 10.00 including tax and I feel was worth it. I did take one star off because I did have moments putting it together. It wasn't hard it was probably just me.

It has to be put together adult supervision a must
