I was planning on drilling some holes in the bottom but after assembling mine both have three panels on the bottom and when placed in the box they sit about 1/4 inch from each other allowing room for water to drain.  One reviewer stated that the liner caused water to not drain properly...I will either cut drainage holes in liner or not use it at all.

Why does material say resin wicker. Is it cedar as stated or resin wicker. Also if it is cedar is it treated with any chemicals. Thank you

To calculate cubic feet I multiplied the L x H x D in inches and after converting cubic inches to feet got approximately 6.5 cubic feet of dirt. I think my math is correct. Sometimes bags are marked in liters as well, so it would equal approximately 183 L of dirt.

I multiplied the dimensions and converted to cubic feet to get approximately 6.5 cubic feet or approximately 184 L of dirt.

I am going to buy bags of dirt to fill. How many cubic ft. of dirt does it hold?

I just set up this garden box, so have not had a chance to use it yet, but I did check and water will run through the liner, so I&#39;m hoping the liner itself will be adequate.

What can be don to help with the drainage? someone suggested a layer of stone before placing in the liner and soil.

This purchase was a pleasant surprise.   Wasn't quite sure what to expect for less than $100.   I would consider the wood to be of good quality (not many knots).   It was well packed to avoid any damage during shipping.   Pre-cuts and pre-drilled holes were all in the correct locations and everything fit together perfectly.  I did put a protective coat of stain/finish on it to protect the wood longer.   I also added castors to the legs for ease of moving.   All-in-all, I was impressed and would recommend this product if you're looking to buy an elevated wood planter.   It took about 1/2 hour to assemble with no special tools required.

Quality Elevated Wood Planter and a Decent Price

Got this for my 13 year old daughter to start a veggie garden.  She actually put the whole thing together herself!  It seems very study and have had no issues at all with it.  Looks great on the back porch.   Husband is handy with building things like this and was very surprised at the quality for its price.

I am giving this garden bed Two stars because of the fact that I only got them ( I ordered 2 garden beds) delivered June 5th, today is July 9th and I just noticed yesterday that one of my garden beds appears to have mold growing on one side AND its broken!!!!! Literally one side that was screwed on, broken off. Perhaps the screws it came with were not strong enough? No idea. But What about the MOLD?? My other garden bed is perfect. No cracks, no mold. The other sides ( of the one that is cracked ) are perfect.  No cracks no mold.  Its literally just that side. I am not sure if that part of wood is not real cedar?? Now I have to go through the hassle of clearing out my veggies so I can go and return the item. But because I paid over $100 on this and its suppose to last for YEARS, I will have to deal with it.

Nice product, but I received one that was no good

I actually loved this and 95% of assembly was easy.  but the 4 barrel nuts and bolts were impossible to put in.  the rest of the assembly took maybe a half hour to 46 minutes. but after 3 hours I have 2 of the bolts in and one of  them by after the nut broke through the board back.  I have one damaged side board and I am just going to push the bolt in and fill it with wood putty and hope for the best.  I really liked this item, and have another to assemble but will use some other way to affix the bolt then this.  terrible design.

frustrating!

The price on these is reasonable but the product leaves much to be desired. They are not sturdy ebough to hold the dirt.  I purchased in March, put up in June.  I have had one conpletely collapse and found another one today that is pulling apart ans will be collapsing soon i am sure.

Wont buy again

After filling the box with soil and planting my vegetables, the entire end of a side completely pulled out through the screws.  I contacted the seller who has never responded to my concern despite sending photos.

The seams split. The screws pulled right through the thin wood poeces in the side. We put them together and didn’t even have soil in them yet but rain caused the wood to soften and they fell apart. Seller has

This product does not last.  Don’t be fooled by the reviews that were written before the purchaser used the product for any length of time. I bought this 6 of these last year and within months they were falling apart, to the point we had to reinforce so it would not fall down. I would not recommend this to anyone.  The pictures below show you the extent of the damage to this planter and this happened within the first couple of months of using. We are now replacing all of these planters with galvanize steel troughs so that we have something that lasts.

BUYER BEWARE... they do not last

Would give no stars if it was an option. At first I was in love with this product however it fell apart after being out for maybe 2 months. Very poor quality product. Tried emailing the company about the issue and they have ignored all my emails. Don’t buy!!

Horrible quality, not with the money!!

CHEAP! Worked great for about a month. Its already warped, cracked, faded and broken in multiple places to where it is about to fall. Should have stuck with our gut and built it ourselves where we can choose the proper materials and correct way to build it. 

It clearly is not stable enough to hold the amount of soil/plants that is recommended.

Not worth the purchase.
