This was very fun but should definatly use supervision with young children. The water beads hurt if you get hit with them. And make sure they are wearing their eye wear. this was over all a fun toy. and also make sure that the water beads are soaked for at least 4 hours before use.

I had my kid shoot my forearm just to see how much it hurt and I was stunned. It had some impressive kick for a spring loaded polymer based gel gun. It stings but it doesn't leave welts and bruises like traditional BB guns and pellet guns. It's a load of fun to play with (as a 32 year old dad). 5/5 get this over a BB gun or pellet gun to prevent substantial injuries.

A must get for your boys

This toy is awesome! I feel like a kid again shooting the gel balls at soda cans and other things for target practice. They explode on impact and  don't leave much of a mess. Be careful though, it's pretty powerful and can cause some damage so always use caution and wear the provided eye glasses.

My 14 son and 16 year old twins absolutely loved the Hydro Strike Nebula Pro Gel Water Bead Blaster. It was perfect for the summer heat!
And I appreciated the fact that they could take it outside and no mess inside. It also came with protective Eyewear which my wife appreciated appreciated. They have already asked for another one so they can all have one. Think Orbeez meets Nerf gun and this perfectly describes this water gun.

Hydro strike nebula bead blaster is a BLAST
As someone that grew up playing nerf wars with my friends, and love playing laser tag and paintball whenever I can, this is the greatest toy for adults. My friends and I have a great time with this bead blaster. It loads and shoots so easily, I like that it's safer than a BB gun, but still has the same effect. And it shoots far! Just all around great time for target practice, or with friends with the correct safety equipment! Also comes with safety goggles which is awesome. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a fun time safely

Really reliable

1st off. wear your safety glasses. So glad they come in the box. 
2nd. This is not for Kids. Gel ,Yes. Soft ,not really.  
3rd.  Will shock you how fast ,far and hard this shoots.  Yes is a soft gel. But its not that soft. 14 and up . And i would keep on eye on what your kids are shooting at. .I don;t think it would break a window.  But, if close. it will hurt. 
Fun toy gun. teenage will love it. Cool. how a little ball and water and four hours grow to be a gel ball you can fire.

My kids were so excited I was receiving this product to test. They immediately wanted to open it and get the gel balls ready. My teenager had a sleepover and they had a great time playing with it. They did say it hurt a bit but not super bad and it did leave marks but they said it was so much fun. We have already ordered more beads for the gel blaster.

So it looked like a lot of fun.. we opened the box and we had to empty little pellets onto a container and add water and wait 4 hours for the water gel pellets to size. We did it over night.  We added the balls into the blaster. Sometimes the balls exploded before they were shot out, sometimes they would come out and pop on contact and other times they would hit and not pop at all. Its not really accurate and cheaply made. Not fun at all. Maybe we got a defective one.  Not sure it seams pretty cool and like it was gonna be a lot of fun.

It doesn't work to well! DEFECTIVE??

The Hydro Strike Nebula Pro Gel Water Bead Blaster is just wrong.  The directions were clear and easy to follow.  This is a planned activity and not a fun spontaneous toy, this is an effort to make an entire industry around this toy gun. The use of Hydro Strike Nebula Pro Gel Water Bead Blaster quickly took the fun out of using it with the need to hydrate the gel beads for several hours and quickly ran out and a need to go to the store to buy more that again needed several hours to hydrate.  I would not suggest using the old favorite water gun or for the same price a Super Soaker.  Just a waste of money in my opinion.
