I've had these in different colors for a couple of years now. The color don't fade, the pockets are amazing, throwing it in the laundry with other sports clothes while disregarding the special care label works fine. What I don't like about them is that they are pretty tight and narrow at the top so (which is great for core workouts but) it's difficult to put on/off sometimes, and I have heard the seams break after I manage to pull them off after a sweaty session - they are my size and fit well, it's just the way it was made that allows this to happen with regular use. There's so many seams due to all the pockets I'm pretty sure I'll make a hole in that nylon leg before anything falls apart at the top. Overall, pretty impressive quality, and the fit as expected for a skin-tight legging with lots of pockets.

The pants were a large I ordered an extra large and the tag on the pants is an extra large. Suffice it to say I didn’t get to try the pants on and they seemed a bit shiny to me. Returned no exchange requested.

There are certain features I look for when I buy hiking leggings: bright colors, pockets, high waistband, and compression. These leggings have 3 out of the 4 features, they're missing the compression and that's a deal breaker for me. Beautiful colors, pockets, high waistband, but no compression at all. I ordered the large based on reviews to size up. Sad to returned them but I need compression.

These leggings are seriously high-waisted. Like I could almost cover my boobs with them. Not even kidding. So uncomfortable. And you can't fold the waistband over very far because the elastic is so tight at the top. Also the fabric has little compression to it, so they're not very flattering either. So unless you have an unusually long torso, or like a tight waistband right on top of your ribcage, these leggings are horrible. Returned immediately! *For reference: I am 5'5", 125 lbs, size 4. I got a size small. They fit, just not in a comfortable or flattering way.

I love backcountry and I will continue to buy their clothing! But…I’m not sure why so many companies make women's leggings with such a tight, narrow, elastic band at the waist. I know a lot of women complain about leggings falling down but in my experience that has more to do with the fabric than the waist band. As women, our midsections are often softer and tying a really tight string around the middle of our tummies isn’t the solution to keeping leggings up. It’s so uncomfortable and unflattering. Makes me look like a busted can of biscuits! We want seamless waistbands! The fabric is nice, pockets (I can fit my IPhone 11) are a bonus and they fit perfectly other than the waist band. I wouldn’t even size up in these because I think they’d be too big everywhere else. For reference I’m 5’7” 130lbs and I ordered my normal size S. My waist is 26” and I have a slender/athletic build. Unfortunately, I’m returning these but I hope this review helps!

Agree with others this runs small but only because there’s an oddly placed piece of elastic for a waist band. If it’s even a bit tight it makes these really unflattering. Will be returning due to the odd waistband.

Great Legging

These leggings are so comfortable and fit very well. The waistband does feel a little tight on these but I cut out the elastic adjustment, and it helped a little. They're still a skosh tight at the waist but that doesn't effect the usability of them - I've worn them several times to the gym for leg day and they've been amazing! I've hiked in these, worn them to work, and also just for everyday errands.

These trail leggings have great pockets, and are a little thicker than your average legging so you can wear them in cooler temps. They do run small and the waist band is a bit tight, so size up. All the colors are so great, I have the evergreen color and the hints of purple are so cute.

The fabric on these is nice and comfortable and the pockets are great. I wish the waistband had a bit wider elastic. The band itself is quite wide but the interior elastic is narrower. I purchased the Black and unfortunately these have pretty bad vpl. If that is not something that bugs you or if you tend to go undie-free, these would be great. I typically wear a 10 in leggings and purchased the XL.
