I bought a basketball court set up and unfortunately I lost 2 rod bolts so I called them to see if they can replace them and sure enough they replaced the bolts without a charge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this basketball hoop for some family interaction time with our kids. As we began to put it together we were missing the small axle. As we continued to work on assembly we could not find a bracket. We did an inventory check and we were missing two other parts. Disappointed we called Lifetime company to see about replacement parts. Katie answered and was the absolute nicest customer service person ever. She took down all of the missing parts and started an order immediately to have them replaced at no cost to us. We are very appreciative of the great service and we can't wait for our missing parts to arrive so we can complete the assembly of our hoop and start playing!!

Fun for the whole family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CSR was incredibly patient with me. I had a very difficult time sending a photo of the backboard to her being that I am IT challenged. Lol. She was wonderful and very down to earth.  Customer service is so very lacking anymore, but it wasn't with Lifetime!

Bowed basketball backboard.

My wife and I put this together as an Easter gift to our boys. We are fairly handy and the build took just under three hours as reported by others. We enjoyed working on this project together and happy with how it turned out. The part of the build which was a bit confusing was connecting the height adjustment bars to the backboard. Also, connecting the backboard to the pole was a bit difficult to keep both areas level with each other when connecting the bolts. This would be a very difficult project for only one person because of it's sheer size. I would also recommend using work horses for a portion of the build as recommended in by another reviewer. Other than that the build was straightforward and instructions were decent. Keep in mind tools are required for this build including several wrenches of different sizes, a Philips screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and a block of wood. It is also recommended to buy the gel base to use when filling the base with water. The gel base turns the water into a 400lb gel which ensures the safety of the basketball hoop from failing over.

Awesome service and quick turn around

I bought this almost 4 years back and still going strong. I had missed the baseboard caps to avoid water being evaporated and sent an email to lifetime with pics and they shipped the parts fast as these are not available in market.

Excellent Product

Everything is great about this basketball goal. The only downside is that when i purchased this product, the plexy glass for the backboard was not glued to the actual frame of the goal. I tried calling them on numerous occasions and have not received a call back yet!

Arrived two days late and a piece was damaged to the point where we could not put it together.
