    • PCI Express Version: PCI Express 4.0
    • CPU Base Clock Frequency: 3.7 gigahertz (Actual central processing unit (CPU) speed may vary by device configuration and design. The average rate at which the processor is able to execute tasks under normal operating conditions as asserted by the manufacturer.)
    • CPU Boost Clock Frequency: 4.9 gigahertz (Actual central processing unit (CPU) speed may vary by device configuration and design. The maximum rate at which the processor is able to execute tasks, typically only used for a short period of time as needed. This rate may temporarily boost the processor's performance, but may result in overheating, shutdown, or damage to equipment if sustained.)

Q: How does this compare to 5600x for Gaming?

A: Practically, there would be no difference. At the level these two chips operate, your gaming performance will be dictated and limited by your GPU. Theoretically, you could set up a game in such a way that the GPU bottleneck is minimized and run some benchmarks to discover that this chip will be faster, but you wouldn't notice that difference when you're actually playing. If you have a 5600X and want a gaming upgrade, don't get this - or any other CPU. Upgrade your GPU. If you have an older platform and are planning on an upgrade then this chip is faster across the board. It's also a less expensive part, however the overall platform costs, at the time of writing, are higher.

Q: Will this work with 1200 socket

A: No, only 1700 socket.

Q: Does the Intel i5 processor come with windows 10 pre-installed

A: Don’t we all wish Windows was standard… well technically Windows 10 is on your Storage/hard Drive… so if your scrapping your old computer take the hard drive and put it in the new one… you just need the windows key from the old computer actually.
